Vintage point and shoot repair:
I was looking for a location to assist with a repair for a film camera I recently acquired.

I used the online form on their website and was delighted to receive a prompt and informative response from in-store camera repair technician, Andrew. All communication via email was honest about pricing, additional costs and how long it would take to fix.
Furthermore, once brought into the store the front staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Andrew was able to repair my camera with precision, expertise and confidence.

I would highly recommend enquiring about Andrew’s services for camera repairs - the costs are very affordable and he takes the time to update you on the process and final outcome via email before collection. He was able to help me renew a sentimental device with life for hopefully many years to come.

I went here today to get a lens repaired which has a filter stuck on the end. The fixed it so quickly on the spot and I couldn't be happier with the service!

Ordered a small item from their website. Chose click and collect as I needed it asap. It specifically said it was available at this store. I was called by one of the staff who was quite cold and didn’t like the idea of me getting a refund when she said it will ship to the store from the wharehouse in 4 days.

I can order this item literally anywhere in Australia and maybe even Asia in this time.

It was hard to get her to stop dribbling about what happened and how the backend of their trash site works.

“In warehouse” and “in store” are simple and easy distinctions to make available on your stock. Shut up.

Just refund me the money.
Have a coffee, and cheer up.

Having recently upgraded to a Fujifilm system I signed up for a private session at Camera House Croydon. Phoebe was very knowledgeable, super friendly and gave some great insights and advice!

Was recommended to take my camera down to a guy who’s been there for years. Treated horribly, the man made my little niece burst into tears because of his impatient, inappropriate attitude and behaviour. Ridiculed me about the camera I have and was absolutely no help whatsoever with the query I had. It seemed like he disregarded what I even came in for and just insulted me. The employees around him on the day probably knew he was being rude pr***.
I’ll never ever recommend this place to anyone and I will never go back to camera house in Croydon.

I recently completed the Introduction to DSLR Class conducted by Dani. This was an excellent class for a novice photographer. Dani's considerable knowledge, coupled with a casual teaching style made for a highly informative and enjoyable experience. Would thoroughly recommend this class to anyone.

I recently participated in a Night/Astro photography workshop with Camerahouse Croydon and Benjamin Eriksson at Cape Schanck on the Mornington Peninsula. After a couple of dates were postponed due to cloud coverage, we finally had a successful night shooting the stars. Ben was very knowledgeable of the park, marine wildlife and the night sky. He taught how to search and shoot the milky way. Covered various camera settings, plus going over equipment and handy accessories that are very useful when out at night shooting. I'd thoroughly recommend this workshop to anyone who is keen to learn astro photography.

Last night I attended an astrophotogaphy workshop put on by CCH. It was excellent and I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in exploring it. The leader was generous with his knowledge and answered every question I had so I was able to come home with some images that I love.

The repairman is super knowledgeable and is highly skilled, staff are nice and happy to assist. Might be a bit pricier than online but far more convenient and most of their film is refrigerated as well which is great.

Being new to Olympus I was keen to learn more about my camera. Brett from Olympus was really helpful and guided me through a lot of things.
