Contrary to the high praise, the teachers at Croxton are undertrained and ill-informed. They do not know how to help their students, nor do they really put in the effort to help them. They mostly spend class time playing games to make it look like they're doing something. If it wasn't for outside help, I would have fallen through the cracks years ago. Very few students at Croxton ever overcome their barriers, and those that do often leave out the full story, like that they had some extra help at home or that their "disability" was actually a minor issue with illiteracy.

Our daughter attends this school (she is in Prep). Fantastic, vibrant environment with caring and dedicated teachers-she is flourishing.

I'm an old class mate of Amy's. And what she says is a lie. She has no idea what she's on about. She is easily manipulated and doesn't think critically. You should see her Facebook: It's riddled with alt-right conspiracy theories!
Croxton is a terrible school! The teachers are poorly trained and shallow! They have no idea how to help their students, nor do they really want to help them. They just chuck them in to the too hard basket and waste class time bludging. If it wasn't for outside help, I probably wouldn't have overcome my own disability.
Don't send your kids here. You're condemning them to a life of failure if you do.

I have been this school I was 4 turning 5 year old, I really love all stuff classes and life skills. Pretty much I haven't been change schools at a I stay there until I finish year 12, I disagree some people saying yes horrible school which is "NOT" now there is new teachers I haven't met yet I know old ones until they leave. Special School. Wonderful dedicated teachers, great programs, scope for integration to mainstream with great support. Highly recommended.

This is by far the worst school in Australia. The teachers are corrupt, abusive, unqualified and ignorant; the school budget is frequently wasted on rubbish dedicated to keeping the students away from the classroom instead of giving them a chance at going far in life; and the curriculum is nothing short of idiotic. Rarely do any of the students overcome their learning boundaries for the educators do not address the student's disadvantages, instead preferring to give them an umbrella education where they are treated like hopeless five year olds, and only briefly touch upon a certain learning difficulty (without any results), while creating more disadvantages. The educators spend more time cutting corners and trying to make their jobs easier. And when a child fails to learn how to read or communicate, those who promised to teach them their ABCs choose not to take responsibility for their laziness and prejudice, and throw all the blame on the students. All that time that could be spent teaching a dyslexic how to read or an autistic kid how to interact with others is wasted on 6-12 years of pre-school style teaching. All Croxton School really is is a baby sitting service ran by those with bigoted views, a desperation for money, violent tempers, and delusions of grandeur. At Croxton, students are made to feel like they are third class citizens with no human feelings, and are thus denied any sort of dignity throughout their time at that poor excuse for a school. They are left to sink lower into decline. Their human rights are taken advantaged of, for the educators make good use of the fact that the students can't speak up for themselves, for most can't speak or others are denounced as hallucinating nut cases by their parents and shrinks. In their brochures, Croxton is portrayed as a haven for those struggling to count or pronounce; but in reality, it is a glorfied concentration camp that encourages the stigma surrounding those with disabilities. It is a place where kids are told by advocates of the status quo that being different is a crime. They say they treat their students with respect, but all they do is give them a label and assume that they're incapable of making progress. If you really love your child, I highly recommend you send them to a school that actually aims to teach them, not tell them that they're useless. They have a better chance at over coming their disabilities at a normal school rather than a dump like Croxton. Do not fall for their lying smiles.
