7Changed my rating based on how political the uniting church has become. There is more emphasis on current social movements and very little to do with the preachings of Christ. Very disappointed as I enjoyed the beautiful music and worship.
Staff are attentive and friendly. They listened to what I needed and showed me cars within my budget range.
I visited the church back in 2019 during my 2 visit to Melbourne I absolutely loved the church building just absolutely beautiful. I took a very keep interest in historical architecture and the building's history in general.
This is a beautiful old church, bluestone is one of my favourites for old buildings. There's also an emergency relief centre here staffed by wonderful people, I ran out of petrol and had nothing on me or in the bank, so was sent here to see of I could get some assistance. Usually criteria is health or pension care card, reside in the area, make an appointment. Then people are eligible for assistance with food vouchers, petrol vouchers, food parcels.
Beautiful old church, but I only go to the op shop, which is one of the cheapest around.
