Crooked Kitchen

We ordered catering for a company event at the Botanical Gardens. They were great over the phone explaining all the dishes and recommending portions. The food arrived exactly on time and was hand delivered to the part of the garden we were located. I couldn’t stop getting compliments about the food from the staff and saying how I had made a great choice for catering. When I ate the food myself it was delicious and was a wide variety. I was particularly fond of the Broccoli and Apple salad which sounded very weird when it was recommended to me but was genuinely super delicious when I ate it. Wouldn’t say cheap but it doesn’t taste cheap in the slightest. Definitely a great recommendation for any catering events.

Absolutely delicious food and wonderful service, a haven for coeliacs and gluten-eaters alike! Love this place and can’t wait to visit again next time I’m in town!

Amazing selection, catering fir all dietary needs. All meals are clearly labeled & if/what allergens they contain. The staff are happy to assist, welcoming and knowledgeable. They also offer home delivery weekly!

This kitchen may be crooked but the food is straight up delicious! Menu and food options were fresh, healthy, and hearty. Service was also very efficient and friendly which is always a bonus. It's unfortunate that I'm not from the area otherwise I would quickly become a regular customer. Looking forward to passing through town again and trying more. Thanks team. I really loved the concept of your food and enjoyed my meal!

Very friendly and helpful staff. All food is gluten-free which is wonderful as we require this.
Selection of food is good, somethings have a spice in them which we are not used to, but good to try new flavours.

Our working lunch was catered by the Crooked Kitchen. The food was really tasty and the selection of slices and treats was nicely presented, colourful and really tasty. I would recommend the rumballs. One of our group was vegan and she said her meal was delicious. Although I did not pay on this occasion, I will happily visit this cafe in my own time and maybe take some of those yummy rumballs home with me for later!

By far the best food in Bendigo, I’m not even gluten intolerant, but I eat here frequently because it is always fresh, flavourful, and reasonably priced

This place is the BEST! The food is so healthy, filling and delicious- you can always find something here, plus prices are so good. Note the hours though as it’s not so long.

My favourite place for lunch in Bendigo. I can only speak for the vege/vegan salads but they are fantastic.

Cosy, straightforward cafe. My 5 year old repeatedly said "this is good food! " Generous serving sizes for a flat rate (all meals $11). We had arancini with pear and Parmesan salad, and a veggie frittata slice with beetroot and feta salad, plus an extra side of potato salad. That fed two adults, one 5 year old, and a 9 month old baby very well!

My friend Kate who runs Fallow Cottage in Heathcote and I we were encouraged by Julie Andrews of Urthly Organics to check out Crooked Kitchen. We just loved the food. It was amazing to see the steady stream of punters who are obviously on the same wavelength. Lucky Bendigonians. So utterly delicious!

Excellent lamb rissole & house salad with spicy relish. Friendly & efficient service. Good value ~ the rissole was HUGE! Good ambience; background music at good volume. Limited shared seating at tables with stool/bench arrangement near the door. Recommended for a tasty, healthy lunch.

Wow, just wow! My partner has been eating here for some time and I finally had time to go. A tiny place where you hope the person at the next table remembers to keep their elbows tucked in. But the salads were amazingly cheap, very tasty and generously served. You just wish it was this easy to eat healthily in other places. Great food, service, taste and prices. Well done.

I have eaten here and enjoyed the meal very much so. A cozy little place with a unusual facade and tiny dining area.
