We were advised this was the best pub in town, well the 4 of use dined there last night and certainly weren’t disappointed, friendly & efficient service, great selection on the menu, the meals were all delicious, quite large and certainly good value, if you are visiting Rochester we throughly recommend this family hotel, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic pub, especially for those with Coeliac disease. They have a dedicated gluten free preparation area in their kitchen. My wife was able to have her first chicken parma at a pub in her lifetime, it was delicious and no more expensive than a normal one. We will definitely return to try more gf dishes. Great service, location and dog friendly beer garden too.

Didn't get a foot in the door. Had our little Maltese tsi tzu on a lead but it was the barman who was barking. DOGS IN THE BEER GARDEN. We weren't there to stay - were simply enquiring as to whether we could buy takeaway beer. Never again. Personally affronted. For all the barman knew my little man could have been a therapy dog. A small town with three pubs? Expect much better than this. From hereon in it is the ROCHESTER HOTEL for me.

Great service, they went above and beyond. I'll definitely be coming by again. Also $12 small serve Parma is great value. I'm a big guy and I struggled to finish it.

Very friendly staff and service. Good quality pub style meals and generous serves. Try the Bandicoot Ale they have on tap. Brewed in Echuca and a mighty fine drop.

While the food was good, our order was stuffed up & my other half has almost finished his meal before going to see what had happened to mine. People who has ordered after us were already eating their meals. Very poor.

Only ate at the restaurant. Called ahead to make sure they were open, scored an easy booking! Great little pub, easy to find, parking up and down the street. Awesome meals! Had the popcorn chicken, was awesome! Also the sweet potato fries are so delicious! Great place to sit with friends, have a meal and a beer.

It's an ok country pub, facilities are aged but gets the job done.
I paid $5 for a schooner of coke and $5 for a schooner of soda water which is ridiculous.
The beer was cold so that's a win I guess.
