Crispy'z fish and chips

Went there today
Order flake and chips
The fish was dry and looked grey very displeasing in appearance will not go again

Crispy'z has been my go-to place for fish and chips for a long time up until at least the last month or so their flake haven't been the best, it has a weird taste and smells like it's gone off. I'm not sure whats changed but I think I'll be going elsewhere from now on.

Absolutely disgusting I ordered flake was not flake, steamed dim sims tasted like they had been sitting there all day potato cakes well no potato in the batter chips were like nails will never ever go back there again

Got burgers, the meat in the meat in the burgers tasted like frozen ones you get in the supermarket, not like freshly made from mince plus way too much salt on the chips

This use to be my favourite fish and chip shop, but in the last few months something tastes off with their chips and potato cakes.

I'm not sure if it's the food, or the oil they cook it in, but the food goes really hard and stale quickly, and leaves a strange taste in my mouth long after I finish eating.

This has happened a few times now, so now I go to Lakeside Fish and Chips because they are super delicious, and fresh!

Great fish and chips. Potato cakes crispy not oily, chips are cooked perfectly. Can’t fault them. Minimum chips looks small when you open up your meal but perfect amount for 2 people. They were very under the pump and clearly short staffed (Friday night) but didn’t let that affect the quiality of the food.

If you like stale fish and soggy fish this is definitely the place to go. Bad quality of the flake (smelt bad, thin and oily). Avoid this place unless you are really hungry.

Got this on menulog delivered to Berwick tonight. Was fresh and tasty, great value. Been a while since we enjoyed Fish & chips, as most of the stores in Berwick/Beaconsfield seem to lack freshness/value.

Over priced and yuck. They have a $10 minimum.
They just cover their food in salt. Disgusting.

Had food here a while ago which was horrible, but I thought I might give it another chance. Nothing changed, battered fish was covered in a batter that was soft and sloppy. Fish tasted off, grilled fish was covered in some sort of a mixture, I can’t even begin to explain what it was. Chips were very bland, frozen chips are tastier snd to top it off everyone felt ill after the meal.

Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

Disappointed in our last order at Crispyz. We have been using this fish and chip shop since moving to the area 7 years ago and have never been able to fault them until now. In our last order, the fish we ordered was not only half the size of what it used to be, it was well over cooked. So sad that we have to find another fish and chip shop.

New to the area so decided to try this place. Walked in and ordered, didn't wait very long at all. Service was great. Will be back again. Price was good too.
