Creswick Market reviews
37Lots of great fresh produce, salami's, honey, eggs, breads, fruit, food vans arts and crafts. A nice mix, I enjoyed myself!
A very small country market but seems to be slightly different each time which keeps it interesting. Worth a look if you're out that way.
Bread, produce, wine, beer, crafts, meats, cheeses, coffee, Vietnamese food, soaps, lots more. Recommended to visit if you're in the area.
Beautiful selection of food, hand made products, plants and other artisan themed items. Makes for a nice morning out.
Bloody ordinary, it might have been an experience with an individual vendor, I will return and re review
Creswick Market took me by surprise on just how beautiful is was. Set amongst the grounds of a church, quite a large number of stalls were sprinkled through the leafy grounds on a warm autumnal morning.
There was something for everyone here. Food, fresh produce, Knick knacks, crafts, handmade pickles and even a lovely stall selling products to support stray cats.
The market is wheelchair accessible and kid friendly. Good parking across the road. Donation at entrance not compulsory but a nice gesture.
Food available if you’re after a bite to eat or a cuppa. Bring your own reusable cup.
Soak up everything that Creswick has to offer.
Enjoy.
Enjoyed this market. Smaller than usual due to covid but good just the same. The atmosphere was nice with friendly people. First time I experienced Portuguese tarts soooo good! Coffee from van was also great!
This is a very good market. It operates every 2 weeks, on Saturday mornings. It is easy to find due to signs placed along Creswick's main street. There is a wide variety of stalls selling goods of a high standard. You can sign up for an email to be sent to you which provides a list of the stalls operating at the next market.
We were very disappointed with one of our purchases from one of the plant stalls. We were charged $7 for a very small cutting of wandering dew. When I got home I discovered it was not much more than a cutting that had barely any roots, which had been pushed into a cheap black plastic pot of very poor quality soil, instead of potting mix, hence the stall holder made almost 100% profit on this item. I have reported this to a gentleman manning the information stand last Saturday. He said he would visit the stall and check quality of the plants being sold at that stall. Hopefully this will mean no one else will be caught like us.
We enjoyed this Market so very much because the people were happy and friendly. The produce was of a good quality standard and organic vegetables were available that day.
Craft produced was really interesting and varied and stall holders shared their knowledge readily.
It was fun and not too overwhelming as Markets can sometimes be. I guess I would call it an average size and outside and inside Stalls were Selling their wares.
Loved it. Soo much individual craft, yummy food, plants and produce, to mention a few. Well worth a visit. Will visit again when in the area.
They have a number of bases covered and there's a nice country community feel. You can find fruit and veg, bread and cheese, cooked sausages in bread, as well as an assortment of bric a brace, clothing, plants and wooden products. There's also local beer and wine.
Great variety of stalls, especially Bean me up! Great coffee as always Friendly volunteers on front gate greeting everyone which is a great thing for a market. Never leave without spending above my budget
Nice little market with a variety of goods from crafts to vegies, plants, some hot food, bread, meat etc. Worth stopping by if in the area.
Small market with everything you need! Very family friendly, good food, friendly sellers, and good quality products from around Victoria!
Such a quaint little market with lots of fresh, home grown or hand crafted products. Its normally bigger, but in this CV-19 world its consumables only. Best coffee from Bean Me Up too!
Lovely market, very family friendly as well as pet friendly with delicious local produce and amazing crafts. I always go to get my vegan pies from the flower power soul food van.
Be better once there are more stalls, check raspberries before you pay $15 1/2 of my container were not picked the day before like I was told, very disappointed
Fabulous smaller town market. Stand out stalls were the Flower Power vegetarian stall (vegan mushroom, leek and potato pie was wonderfull) and the Vietnamese stall (Vegie rice paper rolls were great). Good coffee, fudge and spice stalls too. Really nice, family friendly. Plenty of dogs who were all getting pats. Worth a visit:)
Great market for foodies plenty of produce and things to eat, good selection of local makers as well
