Don't waste your time, rude service, I dropped a suit and 2 shirts off. They came back with tags from the previous drycleaners, and looks like they came back with more fluff than before. They don't answer the phone so that makes it even more exciting, stay away!

Thank-you for the advice you gave in giving me your professional advice on washing drapes for our house!
You were extremely helpful, honest and professional!
I would gladly use this service based on your kind advice and time you gave me! ️

Used this business for second time. The biggest problem is that they have a monopoly in Ballarat, so not a choice were to bring your dry cleaning. And they know it. Had a suit jacket with a slight smudge on the shoulder to pay attention to. And they paid attention, as I got the jacket back with a hole in addition to the stain on the shoulder still being there. Jacket just hung in front of me to take and just ignoring that there was a hole in it now. At closer inspection and questions everything was denied by the cleaner himself. Not taking any liability for the damage caused or maybe a refund? What a disgraceful business and attitude. Will never go back again. Another business to avoid in Ballarat.

Took two jackets in to get dry cleaned. They both came back smelling horrible, much like sewerage. Had to get them both dry cleaned elsewhere to try and salvage them. More annoyingly, we then reached out to them two weeks ago, just to ask them to simply re-do the jackets or pay for someone else to fix them. We are yet to receive any kind of response. Bit frustrating they seem to have a monopoly in Ballarat.

I took my husbands new linen shirt there to be dry cleaned. He had worn it once and left an oily food stain on the front of it. We tried spraying and washing the shirt at home, but we were unsuccessful in getting the whole stain out. I took it in on Tuesday, right after Easter, needing it for the coming weekend. We were initially told it would be ready Friday, but I was pleasantly surprised to receive a text today (Wednesday) saying it was ready to be picked up. Not only was the service great, but they also succeeded where we failed and got the oil stain out completely. Thanks so much to all the wonderful people at Cressbells. I am one very happy customer indeed.

Fast efficient service. 2022 and clothes are still wrapped in plastic! I don't really frequent dry cleaners but I would have thought they'd have given this practice away by now.

Itook my dress in to dry cleaners for it to be hemmed and also cleaned for a wedding
It smelt a little funky
I noticed the dress, on getting ready for my nieces wedding it had been only cut and very roughly! The dress has not been hemmed or cleaned as it still has the original tags attached to the dress!
very disappointed considering I paid over $65 for this service to be done,
They should be ashamed.
If they were unable to do what I asked they should of said so.
Horrible service
Ripped off.

I paid $50 to get an underlay drycleaned through an agent of theirs. It was dryclean only. All the threads in the quilting came out and it was pretty obvious it was ruined. They bagged it up regardless, almost in aan an effort to hide the fact they had ruined it. I talked to the agent and they talked to cressbells. Cressbells wanted nothing to do with it, citing it was old. In that case, if it was too old to safely clean, why not just return it to me.i would have had to buy a new one, but I wouldn't have paid $50 for them to ruin the old one.

If Cressbells do not stand by the quality of their work, I would have preferred them to just not clean the item to begin with. The agent gave me a refund, which I expect came from their business, not Cressbells.

Extremely unprofessional. They confirmed a time and date to come to clean a couch but a cancelled the appointment over text 10 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive. Didn’t pick up the call or answer any texts after that to reschedule another appointment. Wouldn’t suggest ever.

I recently took a delicate item into the dry cleaners to ask for a quote and discuss options for removal of a stain. The woman at the front desk was abrupt, rude and dismissive. After scolding me for my management of the stain thus far gave me advice that as a company they were not responsible for the buttons on the garment and that is was impossible to cover them prior to cleaning service.
It would appear this business has a monopoly of the market in Ballarat and undeservingly so.
It was well worth my 2 hour one way trip into Melbourne to seek proper professionalism, service and responsibility at a much lower price.

Poor experience.
Booked in a date and time but they cancelled 15 minutes before the appointment. Non-responsive after.

Disappointing experience. Will seek alternative service in the future. Dropped an item in for alteration. Was supposed to be ready for collection 6 days later. Upon my calling 8 days later and having received no correspondence from them I was told the seamstress couldn't perform the alteration. I wasn't offered a refund until i raised it, and no apology was offered for the inconvenience and lack of correspondence received from the seamstress or the business itself. Huge waste of time basically.

When you drop items in to be "cleaned". I suggest you ask the customer service staff member to explain exactly what they are going to be able to do in terms of "cleaning" the item/s. Their definition of "cleaning" may mean the item will be sanitised but not look any different than when you dropped it in.
The staff my offer to redo items free of charge, but if they can't remove the marks what would be the point?

There are inconsistencies in prices amongst their stores.one store charged $16.75 a week ago for the same dress then a week later wanted to charge $29.90. When I brought this up with the person on the counter they were very defensive and rude and couldn't see my point of view. If I was initially charged that price I certainly wouldn't have minded or even if I was treated more respectful but was met with a rude and defensive staff member. I will know better next time.
