Creativity Dance Studios

I am so grateful to have found creative dance studios. My son, who is usually quite shy in new environments, LOVES his weekly class, and has gained so much confidence. Thanks for creating such an inclusive dance environment! It’s lovely to see so much focus on fun:)

Fun intro to dancing! The Rhythm & Groove class is perfect for my 6yr old, who was desperate to start dance classes but works best in a relaxed format. The teachers we’ve met so far are all great with the kiddos.

We had tried a few other activities in the past but found them to be too rigid and inflexible. Larissa and Nicole have been wonderful in encouraging our daughter back to enjoy moving her body and participating in a group activity.

My 8 year old has really loved these dance classes, relaxed programs, contemporary and fun it’s perfect. The team are wonderful friendly and always happy to help and support

CDS is a rare gem in the world of dance schools. My 4 year old daughter attends the preschool classes and she loves it. Larissa is incredibly warm and friendly, always knowing how to get the best out of the kids, even when they are feeling shy or just having one of those days. She is inclusive and pays close attention to each child’s needs. Dance technique is taught with fun and patience at the forefront. Kids can wear whatever they like (Larissa also provides fairy wings and wands during class!), and parents can watch and at times even participate
If you are looking for a dance school that takes a more considered and individual approach to teaching dance, this is it.

CDS is a wonderful dance studio that creates a fun, caring and inspiring dance space that encourages its students to be part of the creative process across the different dance styles. The teachers are generous and kind in their instruction, which enables students to develop their own dance style and to build their confidence and skills while forming great friendships with their classmates.

Great dance studio, that puts inclusivity and fun above everything else. The teachers (Nicole and Larissa) are exceptional. The end of year performances are amazing and it’s clear how much the kids love being a part of CDS. Highly recommended!

My children have been with CDS for a number of years and the school has grown with them - which means the school now caters for teenagers who want to start or continue dancing as well as the younger cohorts. An amazing environment that listens to the children, builds on their interests and gives them a great understanding of musicality, technique and story telling through dance. Good range of styles offered to meet everyone's interests, preferences and abilities. The annual showcase is high on energy, achievement and celebration and low on fussy costumes/make up and the joy of dance always comes through. Inclusive environment, incredible teachers. Highly highly recommend.

CDS is a beautiful small dance studio that welcomes and encourages all to learn and enjoy dance. Students get to learn the fundamentals of dance in a stress free, creative and supportive environment. All our girls have loved it.

This is the best place to take your child for a great time dancing. They have the best team that work together with all kinds of children in victoria from ballet to contemporary dance. Their primary focus is our kids as opposed to who's dressed the best on the day or kids competing against themselves etc. Good communicators, very understanding and caring.

Fabulous genuine, caring and professional teachers run by the best of the best in Larissa. Kids can be creative and explore dancing to their absolute joy, without restrictive teaching methods.

This is a wonderful environment for kids for the simple reason that the children feel respected and valued as they learn skills to express themselves through movement. The teachers are child-centred and they do their best to boost every child's self-esteem. I don't think you could ask for more.

We love the freedom for our daughter to express herself and have no pressure to perform. The teachers are wonderful and so much fun!

Creativity dance studios are a wonderful supportive space for children to explore their creativity and love of dance. While still learning the fundamentals of dance, it is a stress free environment where everyone is welcome.

CDS is a fantastic small dance school with an individual and developmentally informed focus which prioritises the engagement and learning of the young person without the focus so common in other dance schools on appearance. It is a healthy way to engage with the human joy in dance.
