This school is one of the worst government schools in the area.
A handful of good teachers in CEPS, otherwise starting with the principal, their leadership and wellbeing even the admin assistants, we are very disappointed
They make your child a target
What I mean by this, if your child has a high IQ, they need challenging learning, beyond what they are learning. But of course that can be a problem for most of the teachers there
When children are bored they get into trouble (it's not rocket science!)
My son become a target through the whole year of 2022 and the same thing started this year, actually much worse!
It's easier to try to get rid of the children who needs any extra job
Well, as a parent I knew, I have to move my son ️
Just not okay, when a person who should look after students wellbeing, actually intimidates children admitting things they haven't done! Fabricate things! Just not okay!
Eventually got to talk to the principal and telling him that " we have concerns regarding our son's wellbeing at this school! " and asked the principal " that we don't want this particular person to be near our son! " Failed at the same day
That's unfortunately our experience with this school

This school has taught me such amazing skills! I personally believe that this school doesn't deserve these one star reviews. CEPS is trying their best to make their school an amazing school for children to develop and learn. As a student that goes here the education is well and fair for people their age. The teachers do not shout or disrespect the students, nor do the students disrespect the teachers and staff.

A disappointment. If you are looking for a school that will meet your child at point of need, foster their development and welcome a partnership with families this is not the school you are looking for. The school is a very large school which they will use repeatedly as an excuse for their shortcomings. Due to it's size the school runs a crowd control operation as opposed to building relationships to foster the academic and emotional development of children. The school implements a one size fits all behaviour management system whereby children move their name up and down a board based on their behaviour, children are extrinsically motivated with prizes to follow expectations and are humiliated in front of peers when their choices don't align with expectations (often being yelled at and ridiculed). Any concerns raised are met with defensive responses and opportunities to discuss with the principal are not available due to the shield of assistant principals employed at the school who road block parents. There are some lovely teachers at the school but unfortunately a handful of good teachers does not negate the poor leadership, poor communication and approach of the school.

The school needs a well being overhaul where students individual needs are placed above what's convenient for the school.

Ok this school is good but I got into trouble for the dumbest thing. For example I walked into the changing room toilets. But the teachers helped to so much I would definitely take my kids there in the future.

Disgusted. This school was a disappointment it I went to that school from year2 to 6 and all there is there is bullies and teachers that do nothing about it and all they do is just laugh and tell you to shut up. I have experienced teachers even teasing kids and putting them down for not nowing something.
Would not recommend!

Mediocre school with an ineffectual principal. It’s a game of catch-him-if-you-can if you want to set up a meeting with him. And if you are successful in getting him to meet with you (via your own perseverance getting through his gladiator lineup of administration staff of various fluffy titles), he will sound like a broken record repeating his mantra of “I will talk to my team and someone will call you back”.

This school is rife with bullies and many jaded teachers who have a reputation of shouting and screaming in the classroom. However, there are some very lovely teachers too, though they are few. I've given my review an extra star (making it two stars total) because these nice teachers, especially Lisa, the assistant vice principal, are very pleasant and responsive and I can not fault them.

As for the bullying issue, I personally know of another three families who have removed their children due to bullying. The school’s fall-back solution seems to be to protect the "troubled child" bullies and punish the victims. There are known problem kids in the school who make it unpleasant for so many other families but they seem to be a protected class because the school fails to handle the challenge of disciplining them or dealing with the defensive parents.

Other complaints:
-toilets are filthy and too frequently without toilet paper.
-kids are made to pick up crumbs from carpets with their bare fingers and then not given a chance to wash their hands.
-not enough shaded areas for hot days.
-kids made to sit at their tables in the hot sunlight on summer days as the west-facing windows in some portables do not have blinds.
-not enough time left to eat by the time the class makes it back to their classrooms for lunch. Parents were complaining online why their children keep coming home with half-eaten lunches.
-nightmare drop-off and pick-up traffic, though there is a sports centre car park being built nearby which might help traffic congestion in the future.

This experience is fantastic but the view of this school is more than three years old. Other sights I visited are recent. My grandson is studying in this school. Hence I was eager to have latest view.

Thanks/Regards

My little sister goes to this school.
She says about 50% of the teachers shout too much.
They got to feel a cows heart, i wish they had that in my primary school.
She says that it needs more and better play grounds.
