20Rude face and unprofessional front of house staff (a gril with black hair not Asian). The store closes at 6PM (with a little flexibilities please), at 5: 50PM some of my family are still waiting in line to pay at the register (busy line). Some of us still waiting in the store (just standing around), we are shopping together. This girl asked us to leave the store now, what do you mean by leave now? Such a rude customer service, we are not even messing or touching your folded clothings. Remember this is fact - every job needs efforts and tiring, if you dont like the job find another one simple!
Rude and unprofessional customer service here. Don’t appreciate a worker rolling her eyes at my pregnant friend and I multiple times, no greeting, appalling body language, and blunt attitude for absolutely no reason at all. Cotton on south wharf do better. Thanks a lot Tanisha … not!
Being an "older" shopper I am sometimes apprehensive about entering stores such as Cotton On as they appear to cater mostly to the "younger set, " however I was surprised and pleased with the range and sizes on hand. I found exactly what I was looking for (after browsing other outlets) and in my size. Overall, it was a good experience
Great place with many clothes options for all the family members. Reasonable prices. Do recommend this place.
Customer service is so bad! A lady was working in a fitting room and was very rude! Just wondering how you get the job and work in a place where you have to be polite with customers.
It is an ordinary affordable clothing store. The store space is quite large and there are many discounted products. You can browse and maybe find treasures. It is an affordable + discount clothing store.
I liked the variety of clothes and prices, in addition to having them available for all sizes
Went into your south wharf store on Sunday 6th of November with my daughter to try on some clothes and purchase some shorts and tshirts.
We walked in at 5: 50pm, 10 minutes prior to closing and asked one of the sales assistants to guide me in the direction of the change rooms.
I was shocked at the response I was given. “The changerooms are closed” was her reply. I asked the lady if they were closed for the day or closed permanently to which she responded harshly “it’s 5 minutes to close, they’re closed”.
Rattled by her response, I asked to speak to a manager and then watched her proceed to whisper, chat and laugh at me with her colleague while walking to get her manager.
Im in retail, I’ve worked in this business for years and the way I was treated was disgusting. As a paying and loyal customer I would have at least expected a more sincere response and I would’ve thought that the changerooms were open so long as the store is open and trading.
I’ve taken my business elsewhere (although I’m sure the sales assistant wasn’t bothered by that) but please pass this onto the relevant line managers so that this team member can be retrained and made aware that her behaviour is unacceptable.

The latin girl staff member in the changing room was super rude to me today. She also didn't count my items going into the change room (I've managed a retail store before and I understand retail protocol). She never asked to remove items from the change room if I needed. Didn't greet me going in but saw me go in the change rooms. Didn't ask how I was going when getting changed but that's not even what upset me the most. It's what I'm about to say now.
Whilst i was getting changed in the changing rooms she told me they were closed at 5: 48pm. I told her i was getting changed so ill be out soon. Then 3 minutes later she said in a loud voice "i need you to get out now if you want to purchase anything". I was putting my sports bra back on which takes longer than a normal bra but I've been a manager before in retail clothing and certainly that's not how one should talk to their customers. The manager came in and saw us arguing and said "its okay" to me when it was not okay because the latin girl staff member in the change rooms section as soon as i opened the door had said to me " i haven't done anything wrong to you". So that was extremely upsetting. Then she lied to the manager of that day and said she never said "i need you to get out now" which she did say that to me. Then that manager said it's okay to me i said no it isn't. He was not a witness to how she treated me came towards the end so I don't know why he didn’t ask me what happened.
I am a calm person and it upset me that he didn't ask me for my side of the story. He walked behind me as i approached my way from the changing rooms to tbe Register.i turned around and asked the manager if he needed to speak to me. He said no.
In there store there were people still browsing and they didn’t get ask anything. I was actively working to get out of the change room fast but i get mistreated this way.
The only great customer service representative was the cashier who asked me how I was going as he grabbed my items that I was going to purchase. His name was Jack, he listened to me and understood why I was so upset, he was calm and was a great listener hence why i felt less stressed after he scanned my items through and listened at the same time. I asked who was the manager he said they were not there today but that the guy with the red mask was filling in as manager.
So on my way out I went up to the manager for that day and wanted to tell him I would leave this review online hoping he would want to resolve it or even say sorry to me but instead he moved 3 feet appart as I approached him and he said yeah okay leave the review. I said "I wanted to let you know" he said okay abruptly like he didn't want to resolve anything. Him standing far away was deeply insulting when he gets close to other staff members. It's not like he was trying to guard himself from covid. He seems to have bad conflict resolution skills.
Also a good way the latin girl in the change room could of handle it better is if she would have asked me if I needed help in the change rooms politely, if she would of put the clothes away. And helped me get out faster. I purchased my items at 6: 02pm and only was delayed to the register due to her arguing with me and being rude!
Make show buy anything from this cotton on charger you full price. I came this shopp 5 years it's my first times the price was $10 dollar when going pay it charge me $25 dollars.power costmer service and told me mybe I changed it I told her what about biggest sign show say $10 dollar.mybe my God come from Sky change it.sham hsam told me mybe I changed it sham sham.in 5 years shopping this shop. There is a good collection of clothing in store, it was very busy at the time of visit, staff was friendly.
We lost the bill and the guy over the counter was really sweet and understanding. He warned us as it was our first time, but took the item back as well
Very very poor customer services! Very upsetting
i went to return my coat and bra which apparently too big for me.then i spoke to one of the cashier with pink hair, she mentioned that they unable to accept the return because the tag came off eventhough I have the receipt and the tag completely it was just because the tag has no longer attach to the items
i asked to spoke to the manager but again the staff mentioned that the manager has just left, then i asked to talk to supervisor or anyone in charge and she said no supervisor available.
I traveled from laverton to DFO to return this item and this what i got.and when i asked for her name she refuse to give her name.how irritating is that!
Great offers and good collections. Mostly for women & kids while some are unisex. You get a membership card if requested.
This store regularly has specials, discounts and bargains. I bought a mens belt that was originally marked at $14.99 on cotton on website. The day I bought from this store it had the price of $10 on the sticker, but when I went to register I got it for only $2. Great Bargain!
This review is specifically in regards to the products themselves and NOT this specific store nor staff (as it will not let me leave a review on website and I ordered online from the factory and not a specific store).
Great designs but low quality t-shirts. I ordered 2x "2XL" t-shirts and they have both (but specifically one of them) shrunk enormously after just one wash. More so in the length, although length was very short to start with, even before wash. Disappointing considering I paid a decent price ($30 for both plus postage) and now both (especially one of them) is incredibly short. Definitely nowhere NEAR a true XXL, but more like a Medium, maybe Large at very best if I was being generous. The t-shirts are tailored for very short and skinny people. That's fine, but if you are going to make your size "XXL's" this short, you need to have even bigger sizes such as 3XL and 4XL for people like myself who may be a little taller or bigger and cannot try them on in store/get to a store because of Covid. If you are tall like me (6 foot or over), or have a larger body build, Cotton On t-shirts may not be right for you (especially the Music "T-Bar" shirts - I can't speak for every single other design). 2XL should be called a Medium or Large at best, and with the way it shrinks, I'd need at least a 4XL at this point to get a decent "2XL" feeling. There seems to be PLENTY more variety for Women/Girls, so? !
Once again, great designs, but not amazing quality shirts, sorry.
What also annoys me is particularly the "T-Bar Collab" music shirts seem to be marketed towards young "trend-setters" who like to wear the shirts because they are "Cool" and "Hip with friends", as opposed to genuinely liking/supporting the bands/artists whose shirts you're selling.
Just my opinion and I might re-think buying shirts from Cotton On in the future, even if I do genuinely like the band/shirt (in which I do genuinely enjoy the bands whose shirts I buy).

A perfect place to buy comfortable clothes made of cotton and other materials for ones whole family.
One of the cashier girls scanned my same shirt 2 times. She seemed pretty distracted and uninterested in serving customer. I haven’t even got my refund back. Poor service I would say.
Amber and Roxanne are legends. They helped me track down a particular shirt that was quite popular and difficult to find. They checked the store-to-door option, then tried calling another location. I went to Spencer Street and got what I was looking for in the end. Many thanks!
