Costco Fuel reviews
45Great. A bit of a line but it moves quickly and you can fill from either side of the car. So it doesn't mater which lane you chose. And it moves along pretty quickly.
Stick it to Shell, BP and all the others Costco always our first choice for petrol. Always the cheapest in town.
Great fuel prices. Cues can be long, but new pumps are helping aleviate the congestion. Simple process and everything is done at the pump, so if you pick your time for when it's not peak cues, you'll be in and out with good priced fuel.
Stuff need to look for customers who's sits in their car on the phone after filling up and people waiting in line.
Not bad if you're a member, fuel is usually 10c cheaper. But you have a yearly fee when they (Costco) need people to buy their goods and products. They sure know how to market their business to maximise profit yield it's take take from the working consumers. I'm not a member never have and never will be.
Staff need to watch customers, some customers fill up and sit on their phone while ppl are waiting. Staff should ask them to move away.
Prices are great, staff always onsite to assist with the prepaid card machines, even when there are lines, they move quickly
You need a costco membership card to use the site has 30 pumps and 6 are desil 2 are fast flow pump for large vehicles but best of all the price is 10 cents cheaper for normal fuel and around 20 cents for 98 at regular petrol stations
Great fuel as well as lower prices. We use 98 in both cars and often that’s up to 30 cents cheaper than the local Shell. Even the long lines move fast so don’t be deterred. I counted 76 cars in line waiting to fill up and I joined a line - with 18 filling pumps all on the go at once I was done and gone with a full tank just 14 mins later - amazing.
Love it. It's cheap and good. Can be long lines though. So the extra long fuel pump lines work well for either side. Savings sometimes can be up to $20 per tank depending on fuel price cycles.
Most of the time best fuel price in Australia. Need to be a costco member and most of time there's a wait time at least 5 minutes. In weekend waiting time is bit long.
Pay at the pump.
Need to be a member.
Remember to put your cards in the right way.
Try filling up at 6am - 10am not after and don't even try on the weekends after 10am.
Fuel has the detergents in it that you'd usually pay 10 to 20 dollars for if you diy.
Usually the price of fuel is cheaper here.
Based on mileage seems to burn through slower too.
I stopped buying the cheap places like shell, ampol, caltex, liberty and etc because of quality issues.
Here you service yourself.at the pump.
Membership of costco is required to buy here, but fuel prices will save you $1-2 on each tank, so it can be for value if you use it often.
Not worth to wait to "save" for ten cents while you've to pay the membership fee.
Fuel was $ 1.98 or 1.99 today that is 21st June 2022.7-11 had a similar price too. Whats the point in paying a membership fee?
Cheapest fuel in Melbourne! 98 fuel can be 30 cents per litre cheaper. You will need a Costco membership which cost $60 per year and the wait times been be long. But if you come around school pick up times, you won't wait long. Definitely worth the drive!
First the Bad: This was once a place to Fill and Save. Diff was upto 30¢. But, lately the prices are the same as Coles, BP. Infact, United and Liberty sell lower than Costco. The idea is to save up right? Doing exactly the same thing "Filling Up".
Costco for no good reason is inundated with cars to fill up. Unlike Epping which has a 4 row fill option, this 2 car fill is painfully slow. Now, to add to woes trucks with huge tanks cause more nuisance. So, the Big question for me is "Is it worth it". Answer: Was, but no longer.
Now the Good: If you are up there shopping, then filling here can be a time saver. Again with the serpentine line. Maybe not.
Is lining up for 20mins to save 10c on fuel really that smart? I don't think so. Time IS money.
But its Up to you, it depends on how much fuel you use I suppose
Always get fuel here worth the membership just for the cheap fuel the only reason I didn't give it 5stars is it doesn't take cash I still love having cash on me
