Excellent cafe. Food was fantastic and staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. Not too noisy so could easily be a place you can meet people for a coffee or just have a quiet lunch.

One of my favourite go-to’s when working in the city! Food is always fresh, tasty, not over priced! Heaps of variety, friendly service and seating available! Their lunch deals are always a hit, especially the burgers. I love the salad bar, i could eat their salads every day and I’d never be bored.
I’ve also purchased from their Corner Shop during covid-19 and their take home meals are yummy and affordable. Highly recommend the mac and cheese and their sticky date pudding.

One of the best cafes I found in Melbourne! Great food, the blueberry pancake was so good at first, but it was kind of disappointing that at the second time it wasn’t just as good after I brought my friend with me. If only they could have consistency it would be amazing!
Apart from that this is a really good place for a value for money breakfast!

Was visiting from Sydney and my boyfriend and I stumbled across this place. So happy we did because the food was amazing and staff were so friendly. Can’t wait to visit Melbourne again and pop back into this cafe:)

We frequent Corner and Bench at work - a reliable selection of salads and lunch specials. Breakfast items (wraps etc) are a little overpriced to be regular but good as a treat.

Corner and Bench is my absolute fav lunch spot! Coffee is always spot on, and their salads and toasties are so yummy with so much variety every day. Staff are super friendly and know our names, great vibes. Love it!

Friendly and helpful staff. Efficient ordering. Had a burger here for lunch and it was good. The outside seating is lovely however with the burger there was a bit too much sauce on there and it kept dripping all over the place with no tissues around as they dont send tissues with the food. Since the seats are so very very close to each other, it is almost impossible to get out to get tissues. It was just messy to eat. Make sure you get plenty of tissues before finding a table.

Very good Iced Coffee and the Sandwiches were delicious! Definitely a good Cafe with friendly Staff and reasonable prices!

Great food. Love their salad varieties especially Kales and Almond salad. The homemade meatball stew is the best during winter. Beef burger and southern chicken burger are priced reasonably not too expensive unlike some burger place charging 15 dollar for just a burger without chips.

Excellent coffee and the staff are really great. They aren’t just coming to work and doing their job they are going above and beyond for customers to make them feel welcomed.

Always a delight sitting and eating here. So much good food to choose from. The triple salad plate is great at $11.

This cafe was gorgeous, the staff were absolutely lovely. Best brekky roll and hot chocolate I’ve ever had. Would 100% recommend, I’m definitely going back myself.

Exceptional service in store and via phone order. Food is fresh, quick and the lunch specials are always great value for money. Would recommend for a quick and affordable CBD lunch.

During work lunch times, this place is chock a block with lines out the door. The salads are very popular, and their al la carte menu has variety. The worker crowd line up in an orderly fashion, know what they want, and stand to the side and wait patiently.  

Service is friendly, there's lots of staff running around, but it's organised and effective. It's all hands on deck at lunch time.  

I got their special of the day which was pulled pork with a roasted cauliflower, kale and sweet potato salad. It was delicious, and well worth the wait. For $12, it was delicious, filling and worth its value.  

I look forward to trying new things.

Cheerful, busy cafe with great coffee, a surprisingly large and high quality menu, and good music.

Great food and terrific adapting menu. Terrific for breakfast and lunch in town. Salads are fresh and generous, tasty soups. Only downside is just how busy it can get.
