Corio Chicken Bar

This place use to be good and I hadn't been in years. Completely inedible chips, cooked "fresh" but clearly reheated old chips. Soggy, discoloured, broken little ends. Owner said all his chips look like that because the potatoes are picked fresh daily. What a laugh.

Very expensive and tasteless, carrot and peas had no flavour, as did the roast potatoes, chicken was over cooked and for $76 you would be better off going to Red rooster

Really very good and reasonably priced. It's about the same whether i buy takeaway from here or cook meat and veges at home, so I've been going fairly often.

I love corio chicken bar, but lately chips and nuggets have been hit and miss with cook quality. Sometimes they're perfect, other times like tonight, chips and nuggets were undercooked. They need that chicken bar crunch! Will continue to support this small business because their service is unmatched

I luv their 1/4 chicken hot pack! The chicken is deliciously cooked to perfection! If you have unexpected "guests", or, don't feel like cooking.check out their amazing range of food!

Wats happened to this shop, it use to b great for chicken an chips in gravy, last couple of times we've gone there the chips have been Grey, chickens been dry and the gravy has no taste,

Actually wasn't happy when I seen it but plated up for 4 adults who are big eaters actually really nice and Good value

Have not had chicken bar chips in many years. They only taste like how they used too when the guys make them

Went to corio chicken bar, seemed like a family bussiness. To me family bussiness means goreat quality. Ordered chicken parmi for less than $10, one would naturally think that it must be a small piece.
But beive me you, the parmi was decent sized with a lot of chips and variety of salads to choose from. Soft and tender yet chrispy parmi and the mustard creamy pasta was deicious.

Even after thirty years this place is still top notch food. The surroundings may have changed but this quality chicken shop hasn’t missed a beat in all these years. And it’s all thanks to the lovely hard working owners. Getting a bag of the special unique tasty hot chips has long been a family tradition growing up. And now I’m lucky to have the same tradition with my own family. Thanks Corio chicken bar for amazing food, service and great memories!

Best chicken shop in Geelong. I bought a full chicken, chips and a salad and they were all very fresh and tasty as well as being reasonably priced. I also pre-ordered a turkey for Christmas last year and it was delicious!

Stopped by on the way to Warrnambool for some chicken and chips. I was amazed that they were still cutting their own chips! It really makes a world of difference from the frozen kind. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the salads were crunchy and fresh. Make sure you try their Chiko Rolls and chips with gravy, you won't regret it.

Sometimes will be good other times chips half cooked. Call ahead still have to wait 15mins. I would give it a miss. Fish and Chip shop in same shops Excellent 5 stars
