Cafe with great coffee and even yummier pastries! Dani bakes the pastries herself daily! The spelt croissants were, my fave was the bear claw. The vegan mushroom rendang curry puff was surprisingly yum!

Core is one of the best modern specialty cafes in Melbourne. Everything was A1, however, I will say they need proper tables and chairs, I want to come to this cafe to enjoy everything they have to offer, from the atmosphere of the cafe to the coffee itself.its very uncomfortable to sit in with no proper chairs or tables available. Again, everything else was fantastic.

Oh man, this is a coffee bar that I have been wanting to visit for months! Finally did it. The fit out is amazing. The coffee as expected was delicious (Michael the owner/roaster) is a very humble and knowledgeable man. We had a long chat which I really enjoyed. Unfortunately I couldn't meet his wife (danni) as she was very busy in the kitchen preparing pastries. The pastries were delicious, both sweet & savoury! The ladies working behind the bar were very welcoming and bubbly. I cannot fault a thing about the place at all. Maybe 1 thing, it was a bit cold inside but that is due to the roller door being opened. I did notice there are heaters but it was too late to ask as I was about to leave anyway. Very highly recommended to anybody that enjoys high quality coffee and pastries.

Holy moley, bizarre turn of events for a coffee roasters, they also roast their own chocolate for the Hot Chocolate.

The owner Michael has been making coffee for me for over 10 years. I was very excited when he started roasting, and more excited when he finally opened Core. There's a reason I've been a customer of his for so long.
There are 4 options for coffee. 1 for black drinks, 1 for milk drinks, and 2 batch brews. Everything is good.

Visited Core for the first time today and I'll definitely be back.

Cool place that clearly cares about the coffee they serve.not really a full breakfast but more of a baked goods and coffee place.

We travelled from afar but it was totally worth it for the coffee! Not to mention it is dog friendly. Can't go wrong grabbing a coffee from here!

Best coffee roasters in Melbourne. The owners were not only super passionate about their products but they were also very friendly. Delicious coffee and pastries! Highly recommend

Just insanely good on both the food and beverage fronts (plus lovely friendly owners/staff). DO NOT sleep on the sparkling filter coffee and iced tea. Or the mushroom-filled croissants. Or the rendang curry puffs. You get the point.

Just had a lovely chat with the staff over an excellent coffee. The dedication to coffee excellence is evident, and it's in an excellent location. I'll definitely visit again
