Coragulac House

We visited this fascinating property yesterday, for the open day and a very well conducted tour with Sharyn, who is delightful, very easy to listen, to and was able to impart a mass of information on the history of the property and other historic properties. We would certainly recommend people take the time to visit on, one of the next 4 Sunday's for further open days. Be sure to look up at the magnificent ceilings, and take the time to sit on the front veranda where a soft cool breeze kissed my checks and facilitated imaginations of times gone by. The nearby area is abound with luscious green, curvaceous hills and the view from Red Rock lookout surveys the entire area-also well worth a visit. Corangamite Lake Road is a turn off from the Princes Highway west of Colac. The property at 895 Corangamite Lake Road Coragulac, is on the left when approaching from the Princess Highway.

Sharyn and Garry were exceptional!
We had our wedding at the beautiful Coragulac House in April 2022. We first met Sharyn and Garry in July 2021 and they went above and beyond to ensure things were how we wanted them. They were very helpful and we commend them on their organisational skills in the lead up to our big day. They were friendly, good at communicating and were always there to lend a helpful hand. We are still in awe of the stunning property and couldn’t recommend this venue enough. The surrounding locations for photos are breathtaking.

What a gem! We stayed in the very clean and comfortable Monash Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area. Lots to see and do: Red Rock lookout, lovely pub meal at Beeac, stepping off point for Birregurra and the Otways. Garry took us on a really interesting tour of Coragulac House to finish our stay.

Basic accomodation for the price charged. Nice rural outlook. Lacking ammenities and upkeep of guests food condiments

Stayed in Monash cottage, it is absolutely stunning. Great views, has everything we need and dog friendly.

A gorgeous old home that is being lovingly restored to it’s former grandeur! Sharyn & Garry are doing a wonderful job and it is easy to see their passion for maintaining the property by all the hard work they’ve put in already.
Sharyn gives a wonderful tour and it’s great to know that the very reasonable tour fees collected go directly into the next restoration project there!

The Probus Club of White Hill made the long trip to Coragulac to visit this lovely historic homestead. Our hosts Sharyn and Gary Gibson provided a wonderful meal (3 courses), as well and a tour of the house which they are lovingly restoring to its original grandeur. Our members were able to wonder around in the gardens as well. A lovely day was had by all.

Thank you so much to Garry & Sharyn for providing us with such a beautiful venue to host our wedding - Ally and I had such a magical day and we couldn’t have imagined a more picturesque backdrop for our big day. Do not pass by Coragulac House - you absolutely must do yourselves a favour and see this beautiful property in all its grandeur with your own eyes!

I cannot praise Garry and Sharon enough. The passion clearly shows in the home. Absolutely speechless at the grandeur of coragulac house. Do not pass this property by. Thankyou to wonderful hostesses. 5 stars is just not enough.
