Great ice cream with big scoops. The selection of varieties is also large. Should you have tried.

I bought the cookie dough flavour of ice-cream from here and I wasnt sure what to expect but it was really nice!

Excellent choice of ice creams, decent coffee and great service. They close early. So don’t wait to come back from your adventures but rather enjoy it early and burn it off during the day.

Amazing place with amazing staff! The ice creams are amazing and so is the menu. They have halal options for their ice creams and the customer service was top notch.

Delicious, well priced, and a great treat after a hike.

If you dont like waiting in line, ensure you grab your order early in the day as it gets busy in all types of weather.

There was a decent line when we decided to get our afternoon sugar rush but it did move quickly with an approx 5 minute wait for our fresh waffle order to appear.

Pretty good flavours, varied. Only complain is that I found some brown hair in my ice cream cup, I have black hair so it's not mine.

Highly recommend to avoid this place!

I do t know that worse between the chocking customer service where you feel uncomfortable, like if you were a burden!
(Excuse me to spend my money to pay for your wages…!), and the artificial taste of their ice cream.
I bought 3 cups, one for me, one for my wife and one for my 4 years old son.
Even my son hasn’t finished his and said it “ tasted funny”, it’s the first time he doesn’t finish his ice cream! No one finished theirs…
I feel like I’ve been ripped off!
We walked to the other gelato shop, the ice cream were great and customer service on point!

We bought a Hotdog. The bread roll wasn't toasted or heated up, no butter just a dry roll, Hotdog and sauce.very disappointing

We went there and took an ice cream and a waffle. The waffle was not toasted and looks like it been microwaved and taste really salty. I couldn't eat it! The banana ice cream was just flavoured banana and the cones was way too sweet and not properly cooked

Any visit to Halls Gap is not complete without a stop at Coolas for an ice-cream.
We were camping as a large family group with lots of kids and they were tickled pink at the selection and choice.

After trying nearly all their flavours after several stops I've come to the conclusion there is no wrong selection here all their flavours are great!

My favourites after everything is still the rum raisin, white chocolate raspberry and mango. Sorbets I really enjoyed their blood orange.

There really is no best time to go, there is queue out the front generally most of the time were visiting but they get through the crowds very well and there's even a water fountain and plenty of public seating nearby.

We were luckily enough to get a scoop before they closed and skip the long lines. I got the Irish cream, it was so creamy and delicious. It's definitely worth stopping for a scoop and watching the wandering kangaroos hop by!

Super sweet, both the kind front of house servers and the ice cream! A big diverse range of flavours, it's hard to decide what to try but the Ginger Megs was for sure a front-runner with chunks of real ginger. And don't miss out on the home-made waffle cones! Went back twice because we couldn't get enough.

Being school holidays it was quite busy, staff handled the queue very well, ice cream was nice, hot dogs and thick shakes were also great! Would recommend especially over the bakery! Much better service and product!

Had the licorice ice cream. Was very disappointing as it lacked the typical licorice flavour. Perhaps the other flavours would be nicer.

Lovely ice cream shop in Halls Gap. We enjoyed the hand-made waffle cone and the ice cream were delicious!
