Cookhouse Burgers Essendon

As uber driver i have not good experience here. The 2 woman staff not wellcome and proffesional. They not call the Cust or bring when the order already ready! And start to blame to the customer “they talk to Cancel it the order” Very disappointed!

Food was awesome and chips were crispy and uniquely seasoned, not just plain salt like most places. Service was friendly.

Love your burgers, some of the best I’ve found in Australia. Always ready in 10 minutes. Always accurate order. Thanks for the complimentary pop corn snacks tonight.

The burgers are awesome, unfortunately, not the chips. I wish the many fast food outlets in Melbourne were able to improve on their chips. It seems they all want to cut down on labour costs and maximise on profits by NOT engaging in home made chips (made from fresh potatoes, and cut and fried in-house). What a huge difference that would make!

Burger were quickly served and delicious.
Staff are very quick and polite.
Menu is great.
Food is nice as the price.
My lazy days go to place.

Had two burger - a grilled chicken and other fried chicken.

Loved the burgers, very quick service and tasty.

The sweet potato fries were really good!

The chips were dull, big servings but I threw most of them out.

The chicken strips were the size of a chip, very dry and well overpriced.

Beef patty was also dry, not really seasoned. No excitement what so ever eating it.
Southern fried chicken burger was a good size, crispy but chicken was also dry.

What really let both burgers down were the buns were hard to bite, they could have been stale

Their Tandoor chicken is out of this world. Just sit on the chair right next to glass window with a burger and small meal. Say thanks later

Always a pleasure! Fantastic burgers, fries on point and gluten free option available. We didn't wait long for our meal and really enjoyed our food, as always!

A little overpriced, but the food is amazing. Times Square & Cheeseburger + Bacon is delicious.

I knew at first bite, I'd be back.
Seating for four or five groups. Good menu options including the sizes of meals.
Friendly server.
I got a stripped down tandoori chicken burger and chips.
Both excellent and priced around $23.00, that was the largest of meals.
Parking near by.
Well worth the visit

Decent food… good for when you want something a bit greasy. Although the person serving me seems like he doesn’t enjoy his job that much.

Best burgers in the northern suburbs - flavoursome and always a high quality feed. Ive tried a variety of different types of Cookhouse Burgers and never been disappointed! The lettuce bun burgers are a winner for me as they are low carb and a healthy alternative to other burger shops nearby

Make Vegetarian Burgers Great Again!
I love Burgers but since turning vegetarian a few years back, it was a let down where ever you go.
Their Faux Meat Burger is just awesome. Service is mostly Quick too. Not Hungry Jack/Mc Donalds Quick but still reasonable.

I've become a regular at this place. My family all like different burgers including the vegan option. My favourite is the V2 plant based veggie burger and I swap in the milk bun. I do eat meat, but I find this is a great alternative to reduce my intake. Great service too, very polite.

Just really, really good top quality burgers. I've been here three times now and have been impressed with every option I've tried. (the Tropic, Aussie and Veggie). The burgers also seem really fresh and don't leave you with that heavy, greasy feeling, so they're doing something right!

Got the beef cheese and bacon burger with chips and a drink. Good value and really tasty! Shame I live on the other side of the city or I'd be a regular here.

The food is great, the staff were super friendly and accomodating to my child's allergies. We wil be repeat customers for sure, keep up the good work guys!

Went on a Saturday afternoon. Good sizes. Good prices. Prompt service. Ordered a Times Square burger meal and one in its own. Also ordered large wedges which come with sweet chili and sour cream.
