Cookatoo Kitchen reviews
28Incredible curries - their Panang curry is one of the best curries I’ve ever had (and that’s saying something)
Awesome choices. Full of flavour and vegetables! Friendly service. Easily accommodated our dietary requirements. We are lunch there and ordered takeaway dinner a couple days later.
I have traveled all over the world as a vegan, and this is one of THE BEST vegan restaurants, or otherwise, I have ever been to. The food is delectable, the service is prompt and very kind, and the atmosphere is authentic. If you don’t stop here to eat at least twice, you are seriously missing out! I personally loved that much of their food is healthy and has lots of tofu (protein!) and much of their tofu is fresh, not fried, which is a huge plus for me!
Good little vegan find on Bridge Road. Was attending the medical rooms nearby and stopped here for lunch. Melbourne was having one of its post-light-shower cold spells and the weather was just right for some Laksa. The spicy bowl of goodness didn't disappoint.
Such a cute little restaurant on the high street. Lovely service with incredible food! We got the Gyoza, Chicken Katzu Curry & Stir Fry Drunken Noodles - seriously amazing! SO much flavour, very fresh and you can tell everything is made with love. Will be back for sure - thank you!
Second time I visited this place, and I love the yummy food and the super friendly service The portion is really generous and the food is really reasonably priced (this is becoming very rare now in Melbourne)! I will keep coming back again! Thank you?
Go here for the FOOD, not just the VEGAN food. Good variety and amazing flavours. Very courteous and polite staff too.
Hint: their weekday lunch time deals are good value.
This place is great! First visited a few months ago and have been back a few times since because I LOVVVE the chickpea massaman curry. Super nice roti too. Friendly service as well.
Outstanding. Tonight I had the Drunken Udon noodles, Miso soup and Spring Rolls. Serving sizes were generous (I've got plenty for lunch tomorrow). It was fresh, hot and bloody good.
Thanks guys!
Amazing "chicken" katsu poke bowl?
Served fast and with a smile. Thoroughly recommend checking out Cockatoo Kitchen for lots of exciting vegan options
The most delicious, well-balanced vegan meals I've had ever! I had the fish bowl, tom yum udon and chives cakes. Each bite is flavourful and wholesome. The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. I keep coming back again and again. Love Cockatoo kitchen! Highly recommend.
Always super tasty food, great service, great portion sizes and well priced. Easily one of my favourite restaurants.
Food is just DELICIOUS! The Best Asian good I had in ages! The owners are such lovely people. I'll not hesitate to come back! Good luck team Cookatoo:)
Had an absolutely amazing experience here. The food is amazing and the people are even better. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Worth a visit! 5 stars!
Food was ok - nothing particularly special - but an extra star for being 100% vegan.
Great location if you're looking for a vegan feed near to the MCG, Rod Laver/AAMI etc
Friendly staff, tiny place though!
Honestly the best food my partner and I have had in a long time. Lots of gluten free options! The service was excellent too! We will be back… a lot!
What a wonderful discovery. This place has authentic Thai vegan cuisine. Feels like I'm back in Bkk at one of the wonderful local food stalls. Thank you to the lovely young couple that own this quaint and delightful little restaurant
Great new addition to Bridge Road! This vegan cafe makes use of awesome veggies rather than relying on fake meat. The tom yum soup and Penang curry were absolute stand outs!
Laksa wasn’t too great but tomyum and green Thai curry was nice. Staff are lovely. I’d suggest takeout instead of eating in
First time I’ve visited but it won’t be the last! Got the lunch special ($14) and the curries were incredible. We got a massaman, Thai green curry, and a stir fry, and they were all fantastic. The staff were lovely as well.
Can’t wait to come back and try more things here
