Coogoorah Park reviews
30 Fabulous spot to go bird watching. Heaps of paths and bridges.
The water is an odd creamy blue colour and there are signs warning not to go in the water as it's quite toxic at the moment.
Really nice reserve. Quiet, peaceful, toilets, playground, good walking tracks around the river.
Access for prams and wheelchairs.
Just needs some more information on the reserve itself as we are from out of town and wanted to know more about it.
The water is a turquoise blue!
Not far from town.
Beautiful park. Lots of walking tracks to explore, and it is dog friendly. There is a playground for the kids. And access to the river also. The lakes within the park are also a great place to fish.
You can also bring your kayak or paddle board and explore the park by water.
Lovely place.very nice playground and an absolutely charming lake/river.the water flow is very gentle and ideal for bit of boating, kayaking or paddle boarding.there is a little circuit track that goes from playground, over the river and back. There are toilets near the playground as well.
Excellent water ways and walking trails to explore. If you are on the water look out for annoying children who like to jump in next to your boat getting you rather wet.
What a beautiful place for a walk with your dog. A well maintained and designed park area. The boardwalk needs a bit of TLC, but you can see that the locals really look after and appreciate this beautiful natural resource. We will ge back with our bikes, kayak, and the rest of our family. What a beautiful part of Anglesea, and a great place to visit.
Cool park and kids play area, good for toddlers up to older kids, has good BBQ area and plenty of grass/wetlands areas to explore (including walks through wetlands)
Have visited this Reserve several times. Great park and playground for the children. And a toilet block. On this occasion I was seeking birds and was not disappointed!
Great area with 2 playground and lots of walking and biking tracks and place was for swimming and boating
Perfect spot for a break on Great Ocean Road. Picnic areas, kayaking and motor boat rides on Anglesea River. Kayaking is $30 for an hour and a worthwhile experience except ducking under the first bridge. Motor boats are $35 for 0.5 hours. Good spot for swimming including jumping of the bridge. Water is deep and watch out for submerged objects.
I've been coming here for donkeys years. It's a great spot and a secret, which I don't know whether to share or not. I gave it 5 stars.for a reason
The boardwalk is lovely and was great to take the kids on their bikes whilst socially distancing.
Went for a Paddle board lesson around the reserve. Lovely relaxing hour. Water birds frogs and thankfully no snakes.
What a wonderful surprise. The playground is ideal for kids, the walkways are well maintained, there is space for picnics, extensive bike paths, and the location very restful.
Great reserve with a playground an amazing network of bridges and boardwalks around the wetlands
There is a great kids park, toilets, and lots of walking tracks around the river. Dogs are allowed on leashes.
I do bird photography as a hobby and this place is a heaven. Highly populated area with different species. Highly recommended for birders and good for jogging and walking too.
After rain a lot of paths are flooded but normally the park provides pleasure for walkers and cyclists.and also the pirate ship playground keeps kids happy for some time
Well worth wandering around the boardwalks and tracks through the trees. Saw a number of orchids as well.
