Containaphobia Escape Room Geelong

This was an amazing escape room! So much fun, excellent puzzles. We have done a number of escape rooms and this was our favourite. Very creative and unique, exceeded our expectations!

Only our second escape room after being underwhelmed by the hype a few years ago. This experience was nothing like the last, the puzzles, attention to detail and the whole story that brought the room together captured both of us and we couldn't believe how quickly the time had passed. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys a bit of a challenge. Host Ben is very welcoming, attentive and passionate about the experience he has created. Looking forward to the next one!

Ok so let me start off by saying that I have played a lot of escape rooms, over 150 all around Australia, and this venue genuinely shocked me, scared me, entertained me, and impressed me!

From booking the game, and receiving an email that said I'd get a text with the "secret location", to receiving said text.to driving down the creepy streets in the middle of nowhere (with no street lamps to light the way). To turning up at a creepy shed, not sure if this was real life or a trick.to walking through the door and having it shut behind us while we walk down the long, ominous hallway. To the pleasant foyer, and brilliant host.to actually playing the game - this venue was nothing short of amazing!

Now gameplay itself was fun and interesting, the meticulous time and effort put into the set design, props, clues, and every puzzle was truly unique to anything I've ever seen in an escape room before!

This has become one of my all-time favourite escape rooms I've ever played. I am absolutely in awe of the owner, Ben, who created these games - my mind is blown.

If you are considering taking the trip to play Containaphobia, then I highly recommend it. If you live far away, then it is absolutely worth the trip. Just do it

It was my first time doing an escape room for 2 of us and it was just absolutely amazing! We have the best time and Ben was so helpful and welcoming! The other person we went with has done escapes before and even she was saying how amazing it’s been done! Can not wait for the next room to be ready! Thank you for an amazing experience!

This is only the second escape room that I've done but I must say that the Mayhem Manor escape room was incredibly interactive and had a great variety of puzzles to solve, all with a well constructed horror theme and very friendly staff. I'm really looking forward to the Carnivorous escape room!

ABSOLUTELY GOBSMACKED! BUCKET LIST ACTIVITY!

This escape room was the most amazing, well thought out escape room we have ever played (and in saying that we have been to some really great and unusual ones in and around the city) but by far, hands down containaphobia is the best in Victoria in our opinion.

From the minute we booked we were fully immersed in the experience. Even receiving the confirmation text messages went hand in hand with the full escape room experience and the absolutely amazing external layout of containaphobia had us second guessing clues before we even entered the room!

I could brag for hours and hours about this amazing experience.

This Escape room is full of surprises with every puzzle I was amazed at the creativity and genius behind the clues and solution. This room had me on my toes the whole time.

The rooms mechanics were absolutely amazing and I saw some things I didn’t think I would ever see in an escape room!

If you find yourself in the area, or are looking for an absolutely unforgettable experience I promise you this is the activity for you. I will without a doubt be back again. Thankyou so much again Ben, we had the time of our lives and are looking forward to the next room opening up!

We had an awesome experience playing Ben’s Mayhem Manor room. It was really interactive, stimulating and kept us busy and thinking the entire time. As escape room lovers, we rate this room in our top 3 escape rooms. We can’t wait for the next one to open. A+!

Have to give this 5 stars! Absolutely incredible experience. I've done a number of escape rooms before but this is one of the best in Geelong and Melbourne by far! Great service, engaging and personable staff and a phenomenally well put together room full of twists and intense puzzles. Would recommend to anyone!

We went and did the 9: 45pm escape room, it was AMAZING! It was a big shed in the middle of a paddock, it really sets the mood especially at night! The escape room itself was so intense, so much fun and the puzzles were so well thought out, Ben was extremely helpful at the times we needed a little bit of a push in the right direction. All around the best escape room we have ever done, we can’t wait for Ben’s next escape room, the carnivore escape room! Thanks again Ben, will be recommending to all of our friends:)

We had an amazing experience at the Containaphobia escape room this evening. The room, story and puzzles are next level & the owner Ben is very welcoming. Hands down the best escape room experience in Geelong. The attention to detail, gadgets and balance between challenging really take the experience up a notch. Would highly recommend. Can’t wait to try the next room when it opens!
