I did both my Rigging basic and Intermediate through CSA and highly recommend them over other providers in the area. Andrew is a great teacher and makes sure you have the correct knowledge required to do the job, not just pass the test.

Andrew isn't clear and hard to understand. I was discriminated against, singled out and partially failed due to (in his words) "failed to level a ledger when directed too". Who knew having an unlevel ledger whilst erecting scaffolds was grounds for incompetence. So word of advice, find somewhere else to get your tickets.

All in all, wasted my time and payed 1300 dollars for the pleasure. Top notch service Andrew.

I found the rigging courses I book through Lynne very insightful, her partner Andrew who takes the classes has plenty of first hand field knowledge and can address almost any question that is put to him in the classes I took.
He is firm but fair and will go to great lengths to see his students succeed, even if it meant staying back after finishing time to clarify maths I would like thank Construction safety Assurance for the course they were able to provide me with.

I absolutely recommend going to Construction Safety Assurance! Andrew is one of the most experienced, professional trainers I have come across, being able to teach and assess over 14 different types of HRW Licences! I did my Basic Rigging and Intermediate down with Andrew and I had VERY minimal experience in the industry but Andrew had all the time in the world to help me out. As long as you show enthusiasm and listen to what he has to say he has time for everyone. He even goes above and beyond and provides tutoring after hours if needed. I also want to say a huge thank you to Lynne who does so much for us all behind the scenes.making sure we all have everything we need and checking in on us daily to see how.we are going. Can't wait to go back and do my Advanced Rigging. Thank you for making me feel full of confidence coming into the construction industry with your guidance.

I completed three licences with CSA and would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for training. Andrews a great bloke with many years of experience, very easy to get along with who not only teaches you everything you need to know to complete your course but also gives you a better understanding on the job itself. If you are looking to get your licenses/tickets in or around near the Dandenong Area and you are weighing up who to go with then ignore all other reviews for other training places and read this. CSA is run by Lynne and Andrew. Andrew runs the show for all courses and is a great trainer who runs the courses at a measured pace based on the individuals within the training group. He has the experience and patience to run you through anything again and again until you get up to speed – within reason. What he can’t help you with is you attending the classes with the attitude of because you or your company has paid for you that you expect to be given the license automatically at the end of the course. NO, that is not the case. You must be a willing participant in all aspects with a genuine interest in showing you are competent at the course you are enrolled in, or at the MINIMUM have listened to Andrew and giving it your best and have a willingness to be coached. If you cannot do that you will not be deemed competent. Andrew isn’t afraid to fail you and make you repeat but at the same time he doesn’t want to see you fail. He cannot do the learner book for you, He cannot read for you. He can provide help for questions you are querying about. CSA is a fantastic training centre and I cannot highly recommend it enough. Please don’t hesitate to book. There is a reason CSA is booked 2-3 months out they are very good at what they do. I won’t hesitate to go with CSA in the future, you should do the same.

Construction safety assurance go above and beyond for their students to not only pass the courses but to actually grasp the learning objectives presented. Their trainers are dedicated and personable, which is why I would recommend them to any business wanting to train their employees in the construction industry.
