Great takeout place with a huge menu. The prices are a little high, but the serving sizes are also generous, so in that way it makes some sense. Really enjoyed the food I have ordered from there. Quick turnaround, worth the wait.

Really good service, clean shop, the burgers are good value for juicy, tasty, filling burgers and theres no comparison to mainstream take away which resembles cardboard.and nutritionally everything they sell is much better also.

40 cent surcharge for using a card on a $15 order? Seriously. These businesses need to stop doing this. Just include whatever the surcharges are in your actual prices.

After 20 years of living in and around Brunswick this is still my chippy shop of choice. Nothing is better than their classic style fish and chips.

The biggest rip off the food is not fit to feed it to a dog and the husband and wife belong in a cage they are the rudest people I ever met

The best local fish and chips I've had in Melbourne (the chips are beautifully on the inside and crispy on the outside, not too oily too, flake was fantastic as well) - exactly what you'd want from a local takeaway and super nice owners, high rec!

We found Con’s by chance one day over 5 years ago and even after moving away still make the trip for a delicious egg and bacon roll or roast beef.
It’s an amazing old school takeaway joint. Everything is made fresh as you order.
It’s a mom and pop business run by a beautiful family.
On Melville at a tram stop plus parking available on the street on Melville and Victoria so easy to visit!

What you expect from an old school fish and chip shop with older family staff. Friendly and quick service. I'll be back to try more. Better than Joe's Fish Shop which is near it.

Have been going into Con's for near 2 years at least once a fortnight. A Great family run business and fantastic old school service!

Brilliant old fashioned fish and chippery with a huge range of burgers and sandwiches as well. Piping hot coffee. Very friendly service and decent prices. This is a classic old school takeaway and I hope it never changes. Right next to the bus and tram stops. I wish every suburb still had a place like this.

Came here a while ago maybe 6 weeks ago.
Had some fish and chips with potato cakes.

Exactly what I needed. I remember the fish being fresh and the potato cakes have that crisp, light batter with fluffy potato inside.
Couldn't complain. It's exactly the 'take-away' meal I was after. No bells and whistles. No inflated prices.

And the staff look as tho they've been employed their for a while.a 'family business' vibe.

Will be back.

Best fish and chip shop in Melbourne. They use fresh oil and everything is of the highest quality! Loved the fish burgers and the fish.

Friendly family owned business and of course value for money and best taste roast beef rolls. Chips - tick. Burgers bigger tick

This guy is rude. Both times Ive gone in he complains about my business. Firstly its too close to closing time (dont open so late or dont take my order im reasonable) then I ring up for chips and just yells at me and hangs up. If you dont want even my small business that's fine but dont have to be rude about it.

Nice enough people but don't expect the fastest service (apparently three customers is too many for them to handle) or the greatest food. But, they are lovely people, when they can be bothered to serve you.
