Connell's Motel

Friendly and helpful staff at reception the room has everything you would expect from a budget motel. Microwave under the bench is a nice advantage, also the comfy chair and footrest, preferable to just sitting on the bed. Other people talked about traffic noise, I didn't think it was too bad, the roller shutters cut most of it out. Clean and comfy although a few more accessible power points would be nice.

The room was very clean, the bed was so hard I could only snooze. Otherwise it was a great place to stay, the location was perfect

The room was nice but the owner didn't have any personality. We asked him politely for a late checkout but on the day when we were leaving, the owner seemed to forget and he got grumpy with us. Not friendly for seniors.

Had a confirmed booking cancelled the day before arriving. No other accommodation options left in the town. Well done.

We enjoyed our stay at Connells motel. The room was great and very clean. The staff were friendly and keen to offer assistance where they could. The young couple who ran the place were friendly and warm. This location was in the bush and there were plenty of birds making plenty of noise. We recommend this location.

Recently stayed at Connell's for 3 nights. Room was spotlessly clean, we were provided with daily continental breakfast, and felt well looked after during our stay with fresh towels each day. For the price, it was incredible value for money. Block out shutters did a great job at keeping out light and noise. Especially loved the comfy recliner chair that I sat in a lot to watch TV and work on my laptop. Thank you to the team at Connell's.

Just stayed at Connell’s Motel recently and it’s the best motel l have ever stayed in. The owner was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. I particularly loved the electric shutters on the windows, made the room dark and blocked out the traffic noise, and the fact that breakfast was included in the tariff and was in your room to make at your own convenience. Bathroom was roomy and had been updated. My only comment is that an exhaust fan is needed above the shower. I highly recommend Connell’s Motel and will never stay anywhere else on future trips to Traralgon. Thank you for a great stay, keep up the high standards.

Clean, tidy, tea and coffee provided. Not too far from the main shopping area. Located on the main highway through town.

Stayed here for 2weeks due to business. I had been worrying as I am a woman staying alone but I felt really safe here! Room was cleaned daily, given fresh towels, breakfast provided. Loved the room and bathroom. Shutters come down on the balcony window to help block out light and noise. Staff were also super friendly! Thank you (:

Staff were really accommodating and understanding of my nightshift work. Really went out of their way to ensure I was not disturbed during the day.
Room was ok, the bed was comfortable - the room was dark (perfect for my shift work). Would stay here again should my work bring me to the area.

Lovely, friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. So nice and clean! Comfortable beds. TV easy to use. Very reasonable prices. Car park a little tight for large vehicles, but do-able. One extended stay, we had mentioned to the owner the reason and circumstances of our stay in Traralgon. Each evening, we would come back exhausted and filthy. They were so thoughtful and would have the room pre-warmed for us, with lovely fresh towels, and plenty of hot water to wash the grime off ourselves. It was so nice to come back to this motel each evening. We slept so well. Just a lovely place to stay. Will only be staying there whenever in Traralgon. Would highly recommend this charming motel.

I had a very comfortable stay. The room stayed warm despite the overnight minimum being -1C. Breakfast consisted of cereal and toast. I will definitely return next year when I visit.

I am here for placement it is close to Latrobe Hospital, comfortable bed, clean and tidy, 5 min drive to and from hospital I wouldn't recommend walking. Menu Log and smoking area available.

Nice and clean a little old but still ok the only downfall is the parking very tight so we parked out on the street.

Lovely Clean Motel, Great comfortable beds
The Host was absolutely lovely. Our son was in hospital near by and she was so lovely to us. Anything we needed. Highly recommended A+

Comfy and clean room, good shower, initially a little noisy being on the main road but the roller shutter solved most of that as well as providing a full light blackout so I could nap while the sun was still up. Stayed one night on a work trip, would happily return again in the future.
