Cones Studio

I’m m leaving one star because of lack of communication. I popped in the studio in July and wanted to book in for an adults class for term 3. Unfortunately they were fully booked.
I asked to book in for term 4 however they were not taking bookings at that time
The gentleman took my name, email and phone number and said he let me know when they were taking students for term 4.

I then saw a story on Facebook which said term 4 spots are open and to contact them.
I sent a message on Aug 7th and left a voicemail. No response. I messaged again on Aug 31st again no response.

I called the following week to be told the class was full with 8 people and sorry they didn’t reply to my messages.
I was told he would ask the teacher if they could fit one extra on and he would call back and let me know within 2 days.
I never received a call.

It looked like a good studio but the lack of response and communication meant I’ve never been able to get into a class. Obviously I won’t be going there. Disappointing

My 16 year old daughter and I had a fabulous night of wheel throwing at the Cones workshop. The class was simple and fun yet very challenging and Eddie was a fantastic instructor. Can’t wait to do again.

Super friendly and helpful. And also generous supporters of local causes and those in need. Thank you so much for being a business with such a big heart!

I have loved my pottery experience so far at Cones. Lovely staff, lovely environment and lovely end results.

Great classes offered for any level of ability. Eddy was a brilliant teacher and was very helpful. Would recommend!

Had 10ish kg of work fires here. Was a fast turnaround and an overall great experience. Definitely will recommend it.

My friends and I had the best time here. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to try something new!

Cones studio has been one of the most enjoyable little places I've gone with my family. Very nostalgic sitting down and creating things just like we used to in Art classes during school. A great place for both young and old alike, definitely recommend giving this place a visit. Just wish they had a little more variety of items to choose from when painting, other than that it was fantastic and the staff were wonderful and super friendly.

Great addition to Bentleigh area. Came here for daughters 18th party. Rose was very accommodating and everyone will be eager to see their final pieces of art

Charlie the owner was friendly funny charismatic and knowledgeable.fabulous, very spacious studio. We had so much fun today- thanks we will be back

Hi what was a great experience at first has been let down by the lack of final product. My partner and I did a class 5mths ago I have sent messages and called several times. To either be unanswered or constantly be told our end products will be ready soon but then nothing. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to taking them home and now I feel like I probably never going to get them. The experience it’s self was fun but the lack of the promised end product and really poor communication let the whole experience down. Initially I considered doing more classes but definitely won’t be now.

What an experience! Mother Day gift with my girls, I was a disaster lol seriously no creative abilities. But was so much fun! Chris was hilarious and music great!

Cones Studio hosted my wife’s birthday and we all had such a wonderful time. Charlie and his team were so accommodating and friendly to make the night a special one. Highly recommend to give it a try when organising any birthday!

What a great little gem in Bentleigh. A beautiful fun space to learn about pottery. Currently doing the 8 week term and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who has thought about having a play with pottery or turning it into a hobby. Charlie and Helen have been excellent teachers taking time out to thoroughly explain different concepts and going over concepts for a newbie like me. I've signed up for another term, and no wonder they book out everyone in our class is having a great time. Its been great to also learn about what happens to used clay, different types of clay and how to neatly clean up our stations and safely dispose of our clay. Highly Recommended!

Charlie was a great teacher and made sure the whole class had a great time with some good LOLs.
He ensured everyone had fun and enjoyed themselves. Will definitely be back.

This pottery studio is the best! Charlie is a fantastic teacher, and I have learnt so much. I love this studio so much that I have now attended two casual classes and a whole term! Plus booked in for a second term. Thanks Charlie!

Great experience in a beginner's pot throwing class with Laurie. He was so patient and friendly – my partner and I had lots of fun.

My friends and I had such a great time at Cones Studio. We took a workshop class and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was amazing!

Absolutely loved the wheel throwing class we took, instructor was very skilful and friendly. 10/10 would recommend as a great gift experience.
