Concrete Boots Bar

Was having a good night watching my husband and other artists on the open mic night. Brought my dog along as it is a dog friendly place.or so I thought. At the end of the night, when a DJ came on, I took my dog on the dance floor to stretch his legs, after sitting all night and being a good boy. The DJ made eye contact with me and looked at my dog. He then played a horrible, loud, high pitched scratching sound (using a sound board, so not 'scratching' a record) seen my dog jumped and didn't like the sound, I then looked back up at him and I seen him laughing. He then done the same horrible scratching sound again and continued to laugh. I picked up my dog and heard other people in the crowd complain about the sound being played again. I asked him to not do that and he just continued to laugh, looking straight at me.
I am really upset as this was a local place for us to go, watch and perform on the open mic but since this, I will never go back. Just the ignorance and cruelty of that particular DJ has made my stomach turn and realise there are some evil people in this world. Lost another customer.such a shame.

My partner and I had our engagement party at Concrete Boots Bar, and it was a truly perfect night! We had 100 people and the food, drinks, atmosphere, bar stuff and general vibes of the place was absolutely terrific. Andrew went above and beyond to make our night one we would never forget! I would recommend this venue for anyone looking for an amazing and perfectly organised night!

Andrew was amazing to deal with, the venue looked amazing & had great packages for an event, unfortunately my partner & I moved interstate & had to cancel our event, I received a super fast refund within 2 days of notifying the venue of my cancellation.

We held our daughter’s 21st birthday party at Concrete Boots and had a fabulous night. Everything from the initial planning stages to the event itself were flawless. Andrew and his team are absolutely amazing. Great food, extensive bar choices, amazing atmosphere and the perfect venue. Do yourself a favour, support an amazing local business and drop in- you won’t be disappointed. Absolute perfection.

What a fabulous evening! I held my birthday function here, venue was amazing, a large range of drinks, food tasted delicious and Andrew and staff were tentative all evening! The room was large and simple enough to fit all the decorations and dress up/down accordingly. It was a stress free evening and I would highly recommend having events here. Price point was spot on too. Thanks Andrew and team for a night well done.

8 of us opted in to the bottomless brunch which was unreal. Seriously good value for money, nice food and delicious cocktails. Appreciated the quiet afternoon atmosphere. Staff were legends, cheers!

We had our wedding reception at this place and it was an absolute delight!
Andrew has been helpful and responsive from beginning till end. The staff were amazing, always there to give recommendations and make sure everyone has what they need.
We were only about 34 people, but the place easily fits way more. There is plenty of space to sit and dance. Equiped with speakers, lights, even a pool table for everyone to have fun.
The food and drinks were also really really good! We had an absolute blast. I would 100% recommend for anything, weddings, birthdays, just simple parties, anything. Thank you again to Andrew and all the staff that made our night so much more special!

Had our small wedding reception there last night. Andrew and the staff were exceptional. Food was impeccable. Dietary requirements were no problem for our coeliac guests. Cannot fault the venue at all. Perfect

Concrete Boots hosted our engagement party and were amazingly easy to work with and made the day absolutely perfect. They reserved the venue for us on a day they are not usually open, replied to all our questions quickly and were super considerate through out.

The bar itself has a great selection of beers, wines and spirits. The food is also exceptional. Could not reccommend Concrete Boots Bar enough.

I recently had my 21st with these guys and it was absolutely fantastic. Got a lot of compliments on the venue and fit ~150 guests with no issues! Andrew and the rest of the staff are also incredible and accomodating and made the process stress free; would highly recommend these guys for your next event!

Love this little local gem! The trivia on Wednesdays is good fun and the happy hour isn't bad!

I had a birthday party here and Andrew has been amazing since day 1. He made sure everything ran smoothly and his personality is just POSITIVE! Definitely felt welcomed and will go back to hire the venue again next time!
