Arrived at Compleat Angler's fresh off the flight from NZ and was completely spoiled by the attention, excellent customer service and terrific sales bargains. The staff are amazingly helpful. In fact, while on the Mornington pier, two days later, one staff member recognized us and added tips on where to fish, so thank you for that. And no, we didn't catch anything, but we still have hope.

I bought prawn net for my fishing trip today. It is on sales. Cheaper!

My son who is 14 and a mad keen fisherman came to your recent awesome sales event. He had the pleasure of meeting Dylan who helped him in selecting a new fishing rod & reel. Dylan took the time to ask Olly what he needed, where he fished & what he hoped to catch. Dylans knowledge on the products he sells was 1st class. He is a great guy & really nice! A big thumbs up also to George the Manager who offered a patient waiting mum a cool drink on a hot day!

Nice blokes, very friendly staff, but many of the rods are ticketed at way over the RRP. This is not a store to get a bargain in. They also lost a sale by trying to up-sell me to a rod that was $100 over my budget and didn't recommend the one I came in buy (of course a rod nearly twice the price will be better), so I have bought it elsewhere.

An absolutely amazing tackle store. Would be the best tackle shop in Melbourne by a mile! The staff here are friendly and the amount of tackle and equipment they stock is out of this world. They stock brands and items that you normally would only find on the Japanese domestic market and in other parts of the world. There salt lure collection is second to none as far as quality is concerned.

They care for all there equipment here. You won't find rods and reals with scratches and marks on them unlike other tackle shops in Melbourne. If you love your tackle this place is a must! Also huge shout out to the owner here, he's a legend and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to tackle and equipment.

Good staff they're helpful but the pelchards bait I bought earlier from them is off. How can i use this now they're breaking. They check all their bait if it's okay sale.
