Como Alterations

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. They have ruined SIX CLOTHES I took to them to alter. I didn’t even ask for complicated alterations. They have no idea what they’re doing and when I picked up my clothes I was devastated and on top of that they overcharge like no tomorrow. Seriously nothing good about this place. I’m so angry because they promise you they can do it but they can’t, take your clothes to professional. Also when you politely ask them why they have done it that way they deny it as if you’re blind or stupid. Horrible!

The best customer service! I got my jeans altered and couldn't have asked for a better experience. They were extremely cooperative and paid attention to every detail until I was satisfied. Didn't even charge for some of the extra work. 100% would recommend.

Located just inside the Como building near Laurent Bakery is a busy shop mending and hemming clothes. She worked miracles with my favourite Zimmermann dress and was able to mend it in a reasonable turnaround time. She fixed my mum’s dress and my outfit for my brother’s wedding. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Nikki has been amazing to deal with, I was recommended to use Como Alterations for my MWL wedding dress which Nikki altered to perfection. I had to make some final last minute adjustments and Nikki was very accommodating and worked in line with my schedule, she was very reasonably priced and her communication was second to none. Nothing was too difficult, I would highly recommend Nikki! Thanks again!

Nikki was so helpful via email and in person! I went there to alter my wedding dress from made with love as it is their recommended alteration shop. Went there for 3 appointments as I didn’t have my shoes ready in the first appointment. Got buttons added to the straps so bows can be attached, straps shortened, dress shortened, split reinforced. Como Alterations was recommended by Made With Love Bridal as their preferred seamstress for their wedding dresses. I can see why! Nikki was a pleasure to deal with, super fast and extremely reasonably priced. I was expecting to pay another $500+ for alterations and it was only $200. Nikki was absolutely outstanding! As a distressed bride 2 days before my wedding Nikki saved my day! My Made With Love wedding dress had been altered by another seamstress who had destroyed the waistline and the dress was a disaster! Nikki spent 2 days fixing up somebody else’s mistakes and did an outstanding job! She worked late into the night the evening before my big day and took time and care to make sure my dress was perfect for me.
