Community Kids Mornington Early Education Centre reviews
18My grandson attends this centre. I love seeing photos of him and information of his day on the Xplor App. The staff are all so lovely. I like how they all interact with myself and my grandson when coming and leaving.:)
This centre is great! My son has always struggled socially until he went to this centre. Since he started here, he now has a huge amount of confidence and is a much happier child. I would like to thank the staff for their encouragement they provide to my child with all the activities they provide at this centre. Keep up the great work!
My daughter in currently enrolled in the 4 year old kinder program but has been going to community kids since she was 8months old. She love this place. Always comes home in such a good mood with so many stories to tell. Jo (centre manager) is AMAZING along with all the other friendly staff. They all go above and beyond. The centre itself has such a good vibe and is so inviting. Keep it up guys
Absolutely amazing center with the best educators!
Greatest center manager and everyone communicates so s well.
They are all like extended family ️
My 3 kids have been at this centre for over 5 years, all 3 at one stage in different rooms. All of the educators here are amazing, I cannot speak highly enough of them and thank them for all the love, fun and care they have provided to my children. Management has always been outstanding here, communication is great and they are so helpful. All the staff here are so warm, friendly and supportive. My eldest is in the kinder program there now, loving every day there with all the awesome activities like science, gardening, art, special learning days, dress up days, incursions and cooking as well as learning so much, getting ready for big school and having heaps of fun! The kids menu here is amazing too! Cannot thank u enough!
Our family have been a part of community kids Mornington for almost 5 years now and couldn’t be more proud to say so.
The bush kinder program, which has always been run by a very stand out leader has been such a fun and educational part of both of our kids experience at community kids.
Our sons have been exposed to society on these bush kinder trips in such a positive way and have learnt how to respect others, have fun, and learn about nature.
I myself have seen first hand what great care all the children are in whilst on these excursions and how safe and happy they are all. I can’t recommend community kids Mornington or their leaders more! They are like family to our kids!
I am compelled to leave a review of what I witnessed at Mornington Park from an educator from this centre. Kids wearing bright vests with ‘community kids’ and staff member identified she worked at Robertson Rd when I asked.
Staff member with short dark/grey hair verbally berating a child for crying. This poor girl was so upset the whole time the kinder group was playing, she did not eat or play. This educator was saying “that’s enough, stop crying, no more tears, we don’t cry. Do you want it (food) or not”. As if that will make the poor girl feel safe enough to play. Educator also yelling at children for wandering a few metres. I understand the balance required between keeping children physically safe/maintaining boundaries. But this woman should not be in childcare, there’s a way to keep children safe without running a boot camp style authoritarian program. I will mention her colleague with long brown hair did console the girl.
This happened two weeks ago, I instantly called the manager who confirmed a group of theirs was at Mornington Park. She listened to me but I think parents should know who could potentially be looking after your child.
I still wonder how that girl appears when her parent finally collects her, and when it’s time to return to childcare. Very anxious I imagine. Educators should have an emotional safety refresher. So disappointing and scary there’s people like this in childcare.
I speak so highly of this centre. Community Kids staff have looked after my child for 2 years now and my child comes home talking about how he has had a great day. Every morning the staff greet us with a big smile and ask how we are. The science experiments they provide are amazing, my son loves participating in all of their activities with his teachers and friends. Thank you to everyone at Community Kids Mornington
This centre has been nothing but amazing! Both my children love attending and the staff are incredible! Having 1 child with food allergies and another with big emotions is stressful and the whole have been so supportive and helpful over the year. Couldn’t recommend this centre more’
Love this centre nothing is to much for your child, staff and management is fantastic. My boys been going for two years and he loves it.
My son loves it and so do we. He has learnt so much already and overcame his separation anxiety thanks to everyone at Community Kids Mornington. Highly recommend it!
Absolutely LOVE this place.they love and adore my baby when i am not there. The activities they do, the creative play, the food.shes 6months old and shes painting, water play, practicing her sitting up, and the chatter! I know my daughter is happy and that gives this working mamma a break from feeling guilty about being back at work. The staff are amazing. I cant thank Kayla & Keele enough for the care and love they show my daughter xxxxx
My son goes to Community Kids in Mornington, he loves it. The staff always greet my son by name and are so friendly and welcoming to us all. My son is always engaged in activities when I come to collect him and chatters away on his trip home about his adventures he has had which can be science experiments with Gina or going on the bus for Bush Kinder with Anne. Extremely happy with our choice of Early Education Centre.
My son has been attending this centre for almost 2 1/2 years, 3 days a week. He loves it! He asks to go on days he’s not booked in and even on weekends:)
The nature kids/bush kinder program is incredible and he lives for the days they go on adventures. I personally have found all of the educators to be kind and always helpful, willing to chat and discuss his needs. He adores the educators more with every year, and when he finally transitions to school it will be a hard task. As cliche as it sounds, the staff at the centre have become family to us. Could not recommend this centre any higher! We love it.
My son attended Kinder with Janelle in 2018. He thrived in her class and entered prep this year with all the skills necessary to succeed and enjoy his first year at school. He attended daycare at the centre prior to that, so moving to the Kinder class was a seemless transition. The chef Jess makes the kids delicious and nutritious meals and snacks. The Centre Manager Amy (and 2IC Brittany) are friendly and knowledgeable, able to answer any of my queries, from my sons' behaviour to Centrelink. And last, but not least, the educators genuinely love their job and do everything they can so the kids get the most out of their days there. It is a smaller centre and I love the community feel, I know all the staff and have developed friendships with many educators in the years that my children attended.

My son is in the nursery. I was very hesitant to leave him there at first. The centre has worked with me to allow him to adjust to them and myself. He is now such a happy boy and has gone from the proposed two days a week to four days. It is lovely every day to go in and see all the children in different rooms behaving and enjoying themselves. Staff are all beautiful and happy to chat, also love to greet my son every morning too. Very warm and welcoming. A very special thank to Niki, you are a beautiful kind carer and I am so pleased with how you treat my son. Thank you for all you and the team do for him, I know he is far from an easy child.
When we started our Childcare experience my wife and I were so confused as to what would qualify as a good fit for us– but with the help of the lovely office staff we had quickly made our decision – from the office to the staff in the room everyone knows our sons Name and greets him – making me feel like they care for my family. We could not be happier with the experience and cannot thank everyone enough for making me feel comfortable leaving my Son for the day.
