Common Ground Project

Had a superb lunch here today. Food was so fresh and creatively presented. So hard to choose from the menu. Sat outdoors surrounded by the vege and herb gardens. I’ll be back to explore the fresh produce I can buy.

This is a Cafe (used to be an Italian restaurant) amongst a beautiful farm property, a social enterprise giving people employment opportunities, plus helping the planet through regenerative farming. We visited a couple of times for their fresh dips and lavosh board and their cheese farm produce platter. Coffee is good too!
The atmosphere is laid back and open. Great place to chill out with a coffee or to purchase some fresh produce straight from the farm.
Great for the kids - playground with slide and swings.
They have farm tours and workshops too!

I don’t say this lightly but this was one of the best lunches I’ve ever had. I came here with my husband and my parents and we chose the chefs choice menu for all of us. The food was nothing short of incredible. We must have spent 3 or 4 hours just reveling in the food and wine. It was such a wonderful experience and afternoon where we were carefully attended to by the friendly staff and lovely French owner. HIGHLY highly recommend. Such a little gem!

Poor service. Pasta was undercooked and swimming in butter. No freshness about the dishes at all. No other drinks offered except wine, beer and water. Not a warm atmosphere or a good experience.
