Staff are fantastic, but the current chef is sadly not.
Parma’s are a winner, but chicken scalopini tasted like charcoal - probably because the chicken was flame grilled - resulting in little black burnt flakes through the sauce, pretty much inedible. Side salad mentioned on the menu did not appear.

Disappointed very limited menu for a long weekend beer was good but decided to move to the opposition and it was delicious

New to the area, trying all the local businesses. The meal was great, and the sizing size was worth the money to. Friendly staff.

90% of the time I have been here the food taste great but the size for the price isn't.
Simple fix is add a more chips, ordered a meal that was $25 - $28 and a Kids that was $12 and the only difference was half a dozen chips.
Happy to pay the money and support local but not if I am leaving still feeling hungry and that my main was a glorified kids meal.
I know the chef knows this is an issue as have heard the same complaint from other customers and also staff.

Good atmosphere with friendly staff. You can tell the owner cares about the pub and the local community!

Amazing out door area

Only in to place bets today, but have had enjoyable reasonably priced meals here in the past. Today received friendly helpful service in TAB and checking in and vaccination checks were done quickly and easily with no fuss by the friendly staff working check in section. Did really well for cup day, with all extra fuss required nowadays due to covid handled efficiently with a smile. Top job

Great customer service, old style pub a cool part of history of Broadford food was very good. Desert was so good i forgot to take a photo lol cheers

After booking for dinner at 5.30pm and told at time of ordering that kitchen doesn't start cooking until 6pm, why be there at 5.30pm. Meals too big from what I saw. Not a good setting. This was my 2nd visit, won't be going back. Needs a massive revamp of premises as too the kitchen management.

New to the area and wanted to check out the pub for dinner. Stood by the bar waiting to be served and made eye contact with two staff members, both of whom ignored us to carry on a conversation between themselves. Went elsewhere and we won’t be back.

Compliments to the chef on the 25/04/21, had an awesome meal, the Nachos Parma was 10/10, great choice on menu to choose from and friendly staff, will go back again.

Food was brilliant but the waitress was so rude! All of us were taken back with the lack of manners and respect towards customers. Sadly we all won't be visiting this local place anymore due to the waitress. Absoulety disgusting customer service.

Seems like a nice country pub. Got the ribeye, asked for rare, came out blue but I ate it. Well priced, however I waited 50 minutes for my food. It wasn't that busy, half capacity. Staff are very friendly and polite.

Inside dining friendly staff, best chicken stirfry and garlic bread fantastic menu selection at a great price.

It was cash only so highly inconvenient! Food took over an hour to get to us post ordering! Would suggest the other pub (Bottom pub) instead.

What a great country feed steaks and veg looked awesome as well as my Parma. Please dont change your mushroom sauce!

The commercial for me is a great little pub, great basic pub tucker, cold beer with a great dapper barman with a very friendly attitude, viva the top pub

Was once great, unfortunatley the new cheff can be heard yelling at the staff when he gets frustrated and food is mediocre at best.

What a great turn around this pub has gone through, had a great chef, lost him for whatever reason (I'm tipping the publican's ignorance and lack of appreciation of what he had) then a new chef; wasn't up to the previous standard by a long way! But now, WOW.what a difference a chef with pride and talent who cares more about quality and quantity with a genuine smile and way of being! I decided to drop in with the better half hearing they had a new chef and what a difference he's made along with his staff. Did a lunch and received meals quickly.and they were fantastic! You really you couldn't ask for more as the service combined with the meals were clean and crisp as no compromise was taken using quality food and presentation being spot on! If you want a guaranteed grouse feed then plonk your arse at this place, chill out and enjoy all it has to offer in an uncomplicated manner with an open fire, champagne service and meals with beer money.first class service going back to old school values plus great food all in a non pretentious!

Dont hate this one place but have had many a nice meal on a Sunday lunch but our last visit the meal was far from the previous ones. Hope it was just a one off.

Sort of ok, being a small pub and quiet area. Folk were drinking and loud but kept to their own circle
