28 Meal was not great, ordered garlic prawns that was just a massive pool of cream with some rice and prawns and could barely taste the garlic.
Other meal was carbonara that tasted like water and pasta.
Can I also add not good with a higher price for meal. Feeling ill.
Great pub food, i really enjoyed this place.
The service friendly, beer was cold.
Thankyou.
This wasn't a great experience unfortunately. Staff not all that helpful and missed a meal completely and tried to say it wasn't ordered when receipt showed it was. Food was ok and we got unlucky with the missed meal which could happen anywhere but then to try and get out of even serving it after that is a bit much.
It was pasta and pizza night. $20 for either, with a good section to choose from. The guy taking orders couldn't tell us what size to expect.we asked in case we needed to order two. Wasn't helpful.

Ordered Carbonara fettuccine, thought it would be a safe bet. It was a huge serve! It was fairly heavy on the garlic, a tad watery. But wasn't too bad.
Sadly, the Salt and pepper squid was so salty it was almost inedible. The tiny dish of aoli made it tolerable. Price $25 approx.
My young grandsons shared the pizza, it probably was 12 inch size? We think the egg was under/not cooked properly, as my grandson had a severe allergic reaction, and we had to leave abruptly and rush home for him to be medicated.
So, our first visit was not really all that great I am sad to say.
Enjoying a lunch here and pleasantly surprised. Bistro light filled and welcoming. My husband had Lambs fry and bacon, nicely presented on fluffy mash with a rich gravy $14.50. My garlic prawns were fat and plentiful with the rice cooked to perfection $14.50. I had a Wynn's Resling $8.50. Hubby had a Schooner of Great Northern $7.00. Service was pleasant and timely. Can highly recommend and we will be return diners.
Great prices for pot and Parma night. Service was a bit slower than expected but was reasonably busy I suppose. Decent size and great meals as well
The staff were very friendly but waited for nearly 40 minutes for our parms, that could be due to being busy & understaffed. The parm was juicy & the salad was great. The only downfall is the noise from kids crying as the wooden floors echo.
The bar staff were great, and gave us a positive initial impression. When the entree arrived, it was good. Unfortunately the main course was almost inedible. Perhaps beef schnitzel won't be as tender as the chicken version, but this was like leather.
Still no food it’s been more then an hour I will give an update after my food!
If it shows up
Update:
It took 1 and a half hours to get my food,
and it was so so so small and I had a pizza and they gave me 3 tiny peaces and it wasn’t even good!
My mum got the Garlic prawns and it was her main meal and it looked like an entree!
Terrible place to eat terrible service waited 2 and a half hours to get plastic served steak, 3 cold meals and the bar staff calling me bro, why because of the colour of my skin either way it’s a negative 5 stars and highly recommend not yo go there
Went there on pama and pot Thursday WOW couldn't finish meal due to size and I'm a good eater. A lot of different types of pamas on menu, well cooked and very tender and juicy - even had beef parma on menu if your sick of chicken (1 person in our group had it and really enjoyed it). Had a bit of a wait for meals but well worth the wait. Beer was nice and cold and you could have a glass of wine or soft drink if you didn't drink beer. Well done guys
Very disappointed with meals, mixed grill came out cold, calamari still had cartilage in it and the toast on the steak sandwich was burnt badly and that was just on our table.
Lounge area very clean and bright. Staff very nice and helpful. Always very clean & tidy. Love the atmosphere
The staff are very friendly and welcoming as soon as you open the door. They were able to answer all our questions and dietary needs. The chef even came out after our meal and asked for feedback. The food is absolutely delicious. The chicken is cooked perfect and moist. The home made apple crumble is to die for. Everything is made to order and literally home made by the chef. Absolutely loved our dinner and would visit again next time we are in town!
The best venue in Hamilton. Awesome food, friendly staff, cold beer & bloody awesome live music.
Always friendly and helpful.
Then there was this.
Pear, poached in merlot, with a fresh caramel sauce, then topped with a transcendental merlot glaze.
Went to the open mike day and it was a hoot. 3rd Sunday of the month. So good to have live music back up and running!
Took my mum out for dinner 2 weeks ago on a saturday evening for her birthday the locals was loud and swearing, with young kids in the dining room it wasnt a place for intoxated patrons move them on, and for young kids to see, no one told them to quieten it down, it was clear as that 2 guys had a few but they was spending money so lets keep serving them, very dissapointed in the meal aswell the parmy was a let down slap together meal ya get 2 stars and 2 stars only as i could park out the front for my mum
This was very good food awesome beef schnity and this was a regular they have a monster as well
Non edible and NO responsiblility. A quiet night is no excuse and we would have liked a replacement meal or refund.go somewhere else!
