The Commercial Club is a real pub. Often a nice quiet hum of chatter & laughs.
The staff are great & the locals are weird enough to be interesting.
The background music is always of a relaxed alternative vibe & the beer garden is
a hidden gem of Fitzroy!
The beer is always crisp & always cold!

Classy old school Fitzroy pub. Good tap beers. Including Guinness. Quiet beer garden. Food is good pub food.

I’m giving this place five stars because the food is really really good and the staff are super friendly. I do not know why more people don’t go to this place. There was hardly anyone in there and it was a sunny Sunday lunch time. Hope more people will go so they can keep the place open

Classic pub vibe. That took care of our large group that came in for some drinks in the arvo. As a Queenslander it was great to have a SCHOONER of beer in Victoria! $7.50 schooners too! Good prices - thumbs up from me

Great local. Quintessential Fitzroy pub. The steak i just had was restaurant quality and perfectly cooked for $28!

Best cold beer in Melbourne. Also very well priced and considered pub fare. Usually some good looking folk in the front bar.

Cannot recommend this pub highly enough. The most authentic pub experience in Melb; the publican is A-grade, space is warm and cosy yet spacious, and a locally stocked bar at very reasonable prices.
