Cremorne - After receiving a text message informing me i could come in earlier than my booking of 3.45pm, so any time from 2.30pm would be ok, i text back with a reply advising I would leave work asap to come in earlier. I arrived at 2.55 only to be told that they had since taken another booking and couldn't see me until my original booking at 3.45. So i had to wait around for 45 minutes. Perhaps a phone call is better service, more personal and could easily clear up any miscommunication from a text message. When they took in the other booking, I believe I should have received a phone call immediately to let me know to come in at the original time.
During the massage I repeatedly asked for something under my head as i was struggling with no support and i was given a face cloth!
Also, I absolutely love dogs, but i am not sure it is appropriate in this environment.
The Massage itself was probably 6.5 out of 10, i have had better.
I wouldn't return to this venue for treatments.

What an amazing place Comma is! Just off church st in richmond it is an absolute hidden gem!
The feeling from when i walked in the door was relaxation and the massage and facial were second to none.
I highly recommend Comma for your pampering needs and will definitely be back!

We loved our experience here. We had a couples bath house session. The staff were friendly and explained everything thoroughly. We got a robe, slides and a towel each and a locker. There is ample room to change in the change room and a shower as well. The bath house was so pleasant, we had the whole space to ourselves. We left feeling revived and refreshed. Thank you

Suprised but not too surprised to see someone else posting a review about racial profiling. And for the owner to then essentially try to invalidate their feelings/feedback.

My partner and I have been to Comma a few times now and I've even referred people here but I will never be returning and do NOT recommend this place to anyone, especially if you're a person of colour. Very odd behaviour by the staff here.

We booked a session here on a Friday 5pm and when we arrived, not only was there no one at reception, when the receptionist showed up, she looked very unimpressed and was not friendly at all. Which was the same experience we had the last couplenof times we went too. Paige, the receptionist, then kept making other comments to continue gaslighting me.
What a way to treat your returning customers and before they start what was meant to be relaxing!

She then continued the gaslighting after the treatment too. You could see she was enjoying it too. What an odd cat. When I called her out for what she was doing, no apology nothing.

The uppity energy in this place from their staff members is absolutely disgusting!

Please read the other low rated comments before you book and the owner's response too. Especially if you're a person of colour. This is not a safe nor relaxing space.

Best book early with SOS in Collingwood or anywhere else without so much pretentiousness.

A unique experience. Certainly best on a quiet day, my favourite thing was the dunking bucket that showers you with cold water after the sauna.

The bathrooms are truly tiny and pretty uncomfortable, and there is nowhere to relax, but the bathing itself is really nice.

The bathhouse was very underwhelming and over priced for what was delivered. I had to share the small tub and sauna with 3 strangers which was not close to relaxing.
They’ve clearly tried to squeeze too much in what still has elements of a warehouse space. No where to change other than a toilet or shower cubicle.

Beautiful aesthetics, but way too small of a bath/spa. The reservation is a shared experience with two other people, during my stay they were loud, and not relaxing in a small tight bath space

An incredible experience!

Incredible service and the bath house was fantastic. The person who worked there, Emma, was the friendliest and most accomodating person, going above and beyond to make sure we had a great time.

Felt relaxed from the moment we stepped through the door. Very warm welcome and had everything we needed. Lovely, clean and relaxing bath. Looove the bucket shower! No photos because phones are not allowed to be used which added to being able to switch off and relax.

Spent a glorious hour enjoying the way of the light couples session with my daughter. Very convenient that we were given cute robes, slippers and towels to use during our visit and was included in the package. I brought my towel as well as I didn't know we would have this supplied. We started our session in the mineral hot tub followed by our sauna session and then a refreshing couple of cold water Pail showers. I absolutely loved the cold pail shower. The ambience was good, low soft lighting and tea/water available to rehydrate in the spa area. The only issue was the very small change room, which got overcrowded with people changing into bathers at the same time as people returning from treatment and trying to access lockers and get dressed. Perhaps staggering the appointment times or providing a lounge area to wait before and after your treatment would alleviate the overcrowded change room and provide a more private, less busy and stress-free experience. Overall, would recommend Comma.

Wonderful private experience, but when we went there was no soap, no conditioner and a little bit of shampoo… when staff came in and we asked hello? No one responded, they just went about and topped up the tea. We were told it was our space to use for that time so if staff are to enter and exit as they please it would be nice to have the courtesy to give customers a heads up

Absolutely loved my Equilibrium massage by the wonderful Yoko this weekend - she was friendly, knowledgable, and I would definitely come back?

A small bathhouse in a laneway of Richmond. Japanese style bathing with a shower area where you are expected to clean yourself properly first before getting into the wooden soaking tub. Dark, moody industrial aesthetic. Very good service, great way to soak away your aches and stress in the mineral hot tub. I only wish it had bigger changerooms.

Very overpriced for a mediocre experience. I only had a bath, not a massage, so can only review the bathhouse - and it was disappointing. Far better service at the Japanese bathhouse in Collingwood, with a bigger bath, actual hot tea, heated change rooms, comfy area for waiting that serves alcohol and snacks, heated change rooms and all the toiletry products you could need. All for less than half the price. Don’t be fooled by the cheap-fancy decor, Comma is using luxury marketing spin to sell an experience not much better than the $15 swim, spa & sauna at your local pool.

Sorry I couldn't give a 5 star rating. This company has a fair way to go to call themselves a Luxury Spa. The prices do not reflect the quality or service.
I was expecting to receive "The Best of the Best" I've read a few bad reviews and absolutely agree on them. The response from the company arent great either. So disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this place nor will I be back.
