Collins Place Medical Clinic reviews
18 Was visiting from New Zealand and needed to see a doctor. Got an appointment within three hours and Doctor Christopher Oh was extremely good and very thorough.
Would highly recommend.
Went here and felt like I was an inconvenience to the doctor who seemed like she wanted me out even though I’m paying entirely out of pocket to be here. I was in pain and was told my injury wasn’t bad and to just rest. Turns out it was an awful fracture that might require me to get pins to heal it properly. Glad I went and got a second opinion from a place that doesn’t just want my money. Thank god for my local bulk billing doctor.
Dr Christopher Oh is extremely thorough and professional - I highly recommend his services along with the admin staff at Collins Place, all so lovely.
My family have been patients of the practice for more than 30 years. The medical attention that we receive has been excellent and it is the reason that we continue to use the practice. The reception area of the practice is its weakest link. The reception staff can be very off hand and abrupt and frankly off putting. In addition, email responses are patchy at best. I wish that the Drs would take this part of the practice more seriously because it is truly in need of attention. It is your front of house after all.
They don't bulk bill. Booked appointments when the clinic came up in a search for "bulk bill doctor near me. ". They're fine but I get better or equal survice for free elsewhere, so can't give high ratings
The positive we go to Harley House to see Dr Stuart Emmerson who cannot be more helpful and sympathetic re our son who has Autism.
The negative: Reception who are rude, unfriendly and unhelpful: Most recently they sent us a message to ring them for the results of an appointment. When we phoned they stated that the message was sent to us in error and was meant to be sent to another patient with the same name - Never a promising sign when you start a conversation off with a lie and then follow it up with lines like ’Let me be clear about this. ’
Incredible Medical Practice. Highly recommend. Dr Edwards is beyond incredible providing leading edge medical advice and care. Very patient, kind, explains things clearly and thoroughly and is an absolute genius. Trust him completely. Leona - Clinic Manager - is next level fabulous ensuring the practice runs like the super professional and high quality unit that it is. Love this place. Very high standard care and customer service. Amazing
Terrible - if I could give 0 I would, and I wish I could add a screenshot, I got there after driving 45 mins for my vaccine and then I get there and they told me I clicked N when I had clearly clicked Y and had shown them the text, I even sent another text saying I would be there at 2, got a reminder at 1 and all, meaning it was there systems fault not mine so I could not get the vaccine, the two lady’s on reception at time were very rude and useless regarding it all, I’m sure the doctors are good but overall service was not. Added is a screenshot showing I sent Y and they are saying I sent a N
Hi All, please see below, as you can see in my last review they said I had clicked N, as you can see by my screenshot below with there message I clearly replied Y, not good enough.
I would highly recommend! Leona and Jen were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout my entire experience. Dr Graeme also gave me my COVID jab and it was the most cheerful vaccination experience I've ever had. Just love the overall vibe and friendliness of this clinic.
Have been coming here for years, brilliant practice, always on time and great doctors. Have supported myself and my husband with everything from general health to shared maternity care. Highly recommend.
Dr Lisa Whitmarsh is the most kind, compassionate, patient GP I've ever visited. I never felt like I had a "family doctor" until I found Lisa. She's lovely.
I did stop coming here when I no longer worked nearby, or could "afford" the private billing, but have come crawling back the moment I had a real medical problem. It's no surprise when Graeme is booked out for weeks. Worth the wait.
Having been several times to see the doctors here, I always feel extremely well looked after. Highly recommended.
I feel I’ve been discriminated because everyone else around me is sick with runny nose or coughing, but I’m t only one requested to wear a mask inside the clinic, because I’m an Asian. It’s so racist! I won’t be coming back to this ‘white’ medical clinic again!
Incorrect diagnosis. I had a whole course of antibiotics and later through a better clinic and GP my issue was diagnosed correctly. I do not recommend this place.
Friendly reception staff, on time appointment and very knowledgeable doctors. Definitely recommend this place.
1 star due to Incorrect diagnosis lasting routhly 6 months. Correct diagnosis gained after directly interfering with MRI referral. Left practice due to this and other issues and have not recieved accurate response to issues raised which has been extremely dissapointing. Now at a new clinic where my medical care is extremely well managed between the whole team.
