Coles The Pines reviews
35Went to Cole’s this morning asked the lady to scan my shopping because I had a full trolley, she said to do it myself and I said it’s to much, all staff was just standing around doing nothing the worst experience iv had will not be returning. Not everyone what’s to use self checkout and not interested in using it, I have a full time job no need to be doing there job your paying for a service, very disappointed in Cole’s and the staff
Been shopping here for years. Typing this review as I sit in your car park disgusted.
You closed the express checkout and made things more difficult. Now I go through with the one item I required and approached the checkout (via the self service) to also purchase a tobacco product. Your staff member saw me with one item in my hand and stood there shaking her head at me.
You can now thank’Rhonda’ for our family now spending approximately $2k per month at Woolworths. Her attitude has cemented my decision to never shop at Coles again.
But naturally this review will fall on deaf ears as Coles don’t care about losing one customer.
Literally the worst Coles in Melbourne I believe. As do many others.
The deli… won’t slice cold meats properly or thin if we ask.
The shop, always has empty shelves and dirty floors and crowded aisles with stock blocking aisles meaning it’s hard to get by.
Today. Saturday.only two people on registers to serve. I asked 3 staff to get help. The first two did nothing. The third, a great guy called “priority 1” over the loud speaker 3 times and I could see him with his arms up gesturing to someone to get their butt moving. The lines for people with full trolleys was very long and for a supermarket on a Saturday to think that two registers only is okay is not okay!
Anyway. Doubt that this will say anything to the Coles hierarchy but they really need to put some effort into fixing this supermarket because I don’t shop at the deli anymore because it’s so bad and am quickly moving to a different supermarket because of lack of everything really.
Despite having the item and the receipt, they wouldn't refund me for a faulty product. I was told to mail the faulty product back to the supplier, they refused to accept responsibility. Four of the staff including the duty manager had a book of excuses to avoid returning the item. The Coles chain should stand by products they stock and should not suggest I contact the brand directly. My issue was resolved when I went to another Coles nearby, who immediately refunded me. Extremely dissatisfied with Coles The Pines.
Really a very poorly managed store. Isles blocked with restocking cages, isle floor space lost with product stacked on floor. Then you can’t get a parking spot because they park their trolley trucks in the public car parking
A Great moderate size centre. Easily accessible with a good amount of parking. Acceptable variety of stores
Tobacco products are expensive. Please get your staff to check what they’re giving customers. Make sure it’s what your customer asked for. I know it’s my own fault for not checking before I opened it, but $58.95 worth of cigarettes going in the bin is annoying
And I reiterate, again today your staff member brings me the completely wrong product after I asked clearly and concisely. Are they away in dreamland or do they simply not care?
I don’t know what happened to this store! It changed in the last 2-3 months a lot.
Most of the isles are empty, all half price stuff cannot be found.
It had a big change, I don’t know it is because of short staff or management but I have to go to Woolworth as I don’t find what I need.
It is not easy for a busy Mum to check all the nearby stores for daily stuff.
I've been a shopper at Coles the pines since they opened I have had some nasty staff including a manager called jag during the covid period but that's in the past so I thought now I go there and find very few staff are polite it's ashame I often go out to do some shopping and generally meet staff at this store hoping for a little curtasy that does not happen in this store
Yes, I did visit, as suggested. Generally, though, only when my preferred supermarket, the olden named Safeway, at the other extreme end of The Pines, for those items unavailable on that day. BOTH supermarkets have similar products, service and convenience but Safeway carpark and end location are more suitable for my family and I!
Both jolly good!
Bakery not as good as Tunstall Square (range not as good, ie no flat bread) and meat is no longer as good quality as it used to be. Otherwise other sections have a good range and it's a good location within the centre.
Not the largest selection of products but staff are always helpful and provide a good customer service.
This store is always well stocked and tidy. Most importantly is that the staff are very friendly and helpful. I deduct one star because sometimes I find it frustrating to get service at the deli, especially in the early evenings when there is only one staff member behind the counter. At these times they seem to be mainly focused on cleaning up rather than still serving customers when the deli is still supposed to be open.
There was a very sexy worker on Saturday, his name was Ben and he was extremely cute. I honestly wanted to ask him out but i was too scared. If you see this Ben, hi!:)
This is a pretty good coles. Its not the best coles, but thats not the fault of this coles. I'm sure it's trying its best.
In general coles is fine, unfortunately this trip they were missing 2 out of the 10 things I was looking for.
Every time i go to this coles there seems to be a lack in staff, i would understand if the staff were still friendly and helpful but they are always rude, except for one lady who always works in the self service, she is very nice and always keeps calm. However i will definitely be going to woolworths at the other end of the centre from now on.
Asked advice about a product I know they had and not only a denial but no further assistance given. Very sad fruit and veg Dept.
Usually pleased with this branch but today watched as staff member behind deli store ensured she picked the worst cod and lobster tails for me. A few weeks ago she served me a veggie burger that had gone off.
Most things well stocked, with a few purchase limits reintroduced due to covid impacted distribution centre
