Coles Mitcham reviews
55 Bakery area "closed", staff went looking for service personnel but didn't return to customer!
Disappointing service
This is the worst Coles I have ever been to and the staff here is so rude to customers and even so called store manager and the store manager is yelling to customers and threatening. I can also seen the discrimination they do to customers.
Absolutely incompetent staff well except the mute/deaf guy if he's not already a manager make him the manager.
Easy place to shop, all ways great to shop at Coles great staff moved from the area now but still pop on from tine to time.
Check out process is very clumsy and painful. We have been there a few times with same experiences and prefer not to go to this coles anymore
Lots of parking and many restaurants around, the cheapest scallops in the town, roasted chick n is back, yummy
Friendly and helpful staff. Good product availability. Clean and tidy. 'Click and collect' service is efficient. Be sure to take a coin with you to unchain a shopping cart when you visit (or one of the staff members will help if you ask them politely)
Great local store, friendly stuffs
Just mins away from mitcham station.
Banks, restaurants, Cafe nearby.
Small but pack with choices.
Sometimes comes with very good deals.
Plenty of parking spaces
Waited almost 15 minutes to be served at the cigarette counter ended up leaving with nothing never shop
Not the best Coles out there. Staff are pretty rude and apathetic. But it's the closest supermarket to where I live and it's conveniently close to Mitcham Station for commuters. But for day-to-day grocery shopping, I would rather make the trip out a bit further to Woolies.
I usually go here to get some banana-flavored milk when I go and get a Vietnamese pork roll from a small bakery nearby. Now, usually, said banana milk would be found with the other dairy products, as is the case everywhere else. Here, it is found in one of the aisle end-caps.
I think our Coles Mitcham is not prioritised by Coles management for stock… there is not a great variety, and the fruit and vegetables are sometimes a little worse for wear. However. I’ve been going here 16 years and know the staff well, and they are a wonderful lot. Kind and friendly. I’m moving away soon, and I think this Coles is one of the few things I’ll miss, just because of the staff.
Fabulous little supermarket, always has what I'm looking for and you can always get a parking space. Plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, an on-site bakery, well stocked deli and a great selection of meats and poultry - not to forget the liquor store next door. The supermarket has everything you need.
Pretty much any other Coles is more convenient than this one (that i know of), but whatev. The staff are good tho
Wonderful staff.
Great bakery selection.
Clean.
Covid check in staff assistance just inside doors - a nice touch
In general Coles do have disappointing in-shop product marketing methods, HOWEVER otherwise, except for overuse of own rubbishy brands (all major supermarket do), Coles Mitcham offer ok prices and service. Lived near 12 yrs and favour Coles Mitcham over safeway & aldi and IGA.
Coles is the first place that will come to your mind when you need to buy something. Anything you need you can find in coles.
I went to Liquorland Donc shops and was after a slab of Mornington Draught Lager. Donc did not have it so he kindly rang Mitcham store, who said they would make one up for me. So I went to Mitcham Store, and the assistant on duty had got me a slab and it was waiting for me. Xlnt service, and very quick. I saw him helping a few customers with choices of wine, and he seemed knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. Thanks for making the slab up for me.
Limited range of products, very awkwardly laid out. Although very friendly and welcoming staff which was nice, who handled conflict with a problematic customer really well!
