Coles Essendon Fields

I always used this Coles to supplement my La Manna shop - convenient parking and usually have what I need - however now they have gone to completely self serve only I won’t be shopping there in the future - so very disappointing that they have taken this step.

Same as all other Coles stores. Went in to look for a specific type of dry dog food. None to be found. Disappointed.

Never to busy that you have aisle rage. But Coles Essendon Fields have lifted prices and cut staff at checkout. That's a slap in my face and they couldn't care less about the extra time they take. I felt myself getting f n older just waiting. My time is precious so I'll be checking out La Manna before I darken the door of Coles again.

Was great shopping here after 7: 30pm - clean staff happy and shelves full. Plenty of specials to shop as well.

While it is a smaller Coles it is well stocked and you can always find parking close to the shops which is a huge bonus!

Don't bother with their click and collect, 40 minutes to collect a bag that had been left out of the original order. No answer on their phone, I had to go to the counter to find someone to talk to. No apology, just a grunt.

The customer service is just really bad, even though i come here every other day, it's always bad

I hate coming here but it's somewhat convenient. Staff are extremely rude and bordering on zero personality!

But there is always plenty of fresh produce and staples just like any normal Coles has.

Unfotunate that Chris M is working on the self serve area. Not wiping down registers, not wearing his mask correctly, continually rubbing his nose. This is an area where staff members have to get close to customers should not be allowed

Excellent selection of the gluten free bread range available. However severely lacking in the frozen foods section. Car park always seems full but never too busy.

Good parking but customer service could be better - staff could be more knowledgeable and helpful with locating items.

Always a great shop, as it's located away from the main Westfield Shopping Centre, hence always easy to find a close car park. It also has a post office and eateries close by, for a snack or coffee.

Excellent Coles store, with plenty of car parking and a large store with lots of room and product variety.

I'm a regular shopper at this store and usually dont have a problem but i was in there today 10/10/20 served by Connor on register 004 at 16.46 you might want to tell your staff member he's here to work and not stuff around on his phone which he kept continually doing during our transaction. Check your surveillance cameras I'm sure there's people who wouldn't mind a job and would speed up checkout process.

Best supermarket in the area. There is always parking available. The shelfs are always full of stock. It’s like no one knows that Coles are even here.

This store offers a 'Click and Collect' service, but upon arrival the supplied contact mobile phone does not answer as is either turned off or out of service! A call to the store directly to make contact was answered and then supposedly transferred, but was left of hold for an extended period - and ultimately was disconnected without contact or resolution. Consider if it's worth taking your chances with this unreliable service.

All the younger attendents are extremely rude and have no manners, have heard them swear at their coworkers several times of having to shop there.

Vulnerable elderly couple thought to use on line facilities. We registered, but were told to wait for a confirming email. It didn't happen. We then tried Concierge Pick up service. It worked well the first time, but failed totally on April 26, on our second attempt. We parked as required, rang for service and received message bank. Half an hour later, we tried numerous times without luck. Coles Service desk was aware that the contact mobile was not working but took no action to solve the problem with a simple sign and an alternative number. On unpacking our order, when we eventually returned home, we found the 3 litre milk with only a 2 days use by date. Considering it takes 3 days to put an order through, we are forced to go back to personal shopping. Its a great service, but not at this store.
