Returning the trolley to the bays are worst,
It is ok to shop but the range of products is pretty average. This is true always because they have not changed their strategies
It's big, so many items to choose from, clean, didn't have to contend with people stacking shelves and filling out online orders like you always do at North Coburg Coles.
I just shopped at the Coles store in Broadmeadows. I was served at service counter. The cashier who told me herself name is Maya served me at 15: 19, register 007, receipt has served by Teresa. She threw all my groceries in one bag. Frozen items, non-frozen and fruit. The bananas were out of bag. Just simply stuffed everything. Then i sorted them, she picked items from one bag and threw into 2nd bag, while looking at her phone. She told me she was still asleep. I have receipts for proof. Coles can check on their camera.
Worst coles to ever do your shopping. Majority of staff members are arrogant and rude. I ask a staff member if i could get a trolley as i picked up a lot more shopping then expected I was told by a employee that all i had to do was go to the front customer service and they will unlock a trolley, so that’s what i did. Waited at the customer service desk 3 staff members saw me but no one approach me after waiting for 10 minutes i asked a rude staff member her name is Shannon if i could please get a trolley to which she yelled out no i don’t have the key, so that’s fine i though i would wait till she got the keys i said can you find someone that has the keys. No i can’t she reply without any apology.
I dont often shop at Broadmeadows and I definitely will not again! Penny (old, dry and veryyy rude) lady at the 12 items or less counter was so unprofessional and simply nasty! I had a few more than 12 items, we didn't realise until we were half way through scanning and she was the rudest person I've ever come across. When i realised she was also being so careless and threw my bread under a bag of rice and pasta, i then removed my bread and told her to be professional or have someone else serve me! Her manager was right behind her, when i asked for him he acted like a bird stuck in wire, completely clueless. I told him she was rude and careless then explained how she was packing my shopping and then Penny completely lied, and said she hadn't done that! Right to my face! And the manager did nothing, didn't even take over. Rest assured this complaint will go further! Penny, retire already! You clearly are not made to be in a job where you are SERVING people, work with animals or something. Absolutely disgusting service.
I usually go to the movies there. I take a bunch of chips, popcorn and drinks from there. Visited mostly at night time. Not busy, a self-check is available and the staff is friendly and helpful

Huge store in a mall. Neatly organised shelves. Clean floors. Closes at 10pm. Well positioned for entrances access. Close to escalator to underground parking. Isles well marked. Well stocked shop. Highly recommended
No fresh deli department anymore, vacum sealed cuts aren't a substitute for fresh meats (luckily woolworths still has a real deli). Quite a few out of stock catalog items across multiple departments & special tickets missing. Store's clean & 90% of staff are friendly. Pretty stocked of specials for a tuesday.
It Used to be good before they changed all the Shows Now you can't find anything your looking for Ende have taken away the express line And I too not like self service
Much nicer store, much bigger range of goods, better to go here than waste time going to the Glenroy store.
Two teenagers full of attitude refused to let me put money onto my Coles Mastercard. They can do it at Coles Campbellfield, why not here?
Hi, 3 weeks ago, I placed an order for delivery for $380 and it accidentally went through as click and collect. I was in isolation due to a 14 day quarantine so a click and collect was impossible.
I contacted Coles customer service line and they said they understood the circumstances, and they promised a refund within 3-5 business days and to place the order again and they'll ensure delivery.
I was happy to wait for the refund but a week went by and I kept calling to ask about this refund. Many people made excuses or said they knew nothing about it. I've called over 6 times over the last 3 weeks, Ive been into the store. And the last response today is "it'll be processed shortly"
This is not good enough because I heard this 3 weeks ago and don't believe it now.
$380 is a lot of money, especially to go without that amount when I've lost work due to covid and Ive had to go without due to an error on your side and not actively resolving this for me.
So now not only do I need an urgent resolution to this, I need a real apology for this before I take this further to media outlets and consumer affairs.
I'll give you 48 hours to entirely resolve this matter.
I am really upset and disappointed being this financially hurt.

This is the worst coles all over in Australia when I go there things are always out of stock and when I asked to staff they said I am busy asked someone else and I asked other staff they said they will top up tomorrow morning so come tomorrow. So everytime I have to go in coles and woolies to buy grocery. Customer service is really bad.
Come here every week but was absolutely amazed with the service by the Lady serving in the Self serve area. Very caring and supportive.

Didn't have the items I wanted. The Drone guy's info was limited but he was helpful and professional. I wasn't happy at all I was forced to leave my name and number
Self service l had to call staff for every 2nd item scanned also reduced item scanned at a higher price and one staff member was abit rude. When reducing fish trays Also selling flowers that were completely dead at half price.
This coles store is shabby!
The trolley I used was disgustingly filthy with so much grime on thd handles!
The sanitiser wipes container was not working as the wipes were clogged and therefore unable to be used.
The clock on the wall facing the registers has been crooked for so long.it looks like it has been through an earthquake.no one has taken responsibility to have it fixed.
I waited in line for the previous customer to be attended to as there was some confusion.it took forever to sought it out.only after I was at the counter did someone decide to open another register.
This is the worst Coles I have shopped at.a very dissapointing experience and very unwelcoming!
In regards to customer service, Coles Broadmeadows stay at 0 rank from me always. All main service counters are always closed hence you need to go to self service desk or to the express line. They don't even feel how stressful this can be for customer who have trolly full of groceries.
I have tried to raise concern today after facing this problem more than 20 times at the same store. Unfortunately staff was very rude and trying to turn me away saying I need to request for main counter if I need that service. This incident happened today, 18/02/2021 Thursday at 6: 30 pm when all main counters are closed and all customers are directed to self service desk. This means main counters closed 3.5 hours before the store's schedule closing hours. Normally Thursdays and Fridays are 2 days when shopping centre close at 9pm means you expecting more rush then normal days.
I have faced this incident many times before but many of the staff are very rude so never try to raise the concern. Even today when I spent time and try to speak to manager, couldn't happen as manager did not come to listen my complain. 2 junior staff just turn me away saying the service can be provided if you request. Means everyone who have trolly full groceries needs to find some staff and ask them to open counter for you, doesn't matter how long this will take.
They don't even care how can a disable or elderly people will manage to go through this shopping stress. Same like my husband who can not manage with short eye side to do shopping by him self at Coles due to lack of customer service.
Coles management should keep some kind of control measures for these kind of issues. I have been to Coles interstate but the quality of service is far better then this Coles. I am feeling very unfortunate to have such a bad Coles management in my community.
Hoping that some Coles personnel will take action against this issues.
