Deli often closes before it should and self serve check outs both don't work too well and are often the only option.

Hey Coles Brandon Park!
I was having a lovely shop until.
In what universe is it a good business model to have the poor guy servicing the only cashier-staffed checkout to also h
Be in charge of the service desk and smoke shop?

I have lived in this area for 20 years and the Brandon Park Coles is slowly deteriorating. Store is hardly stocked in the veggies section.

Shopped yesterday. No caster sugar. No plain flour (white wings) No Lime soda water (on special) No Natvia tablets! Almost run over by a young staff member with a large caged trolley. She saw me but no apology!
Sorry but came home VERY unhappy!

This is where I do my weekly groceries and I find the place always clean and the ladies helpful, courteous and efficient. Customer service is second to none

This store is one of the smaller, old Coles stores (has not been updated or renovated inside), the staff can be abit hit & miss - some are quite helpful and friendly, whilst others clearly just don't want to be there. At times it's quite annoying when they only have 2 registers operating, whilst the line for the self serve checkouts keeps growing and so does the wait time. This store is accessible by wheelchair - it has a ramp at the main entrance and disabled parking just outside this entrance. Overall not the best example of a coles store.

Coles at Brandon Park SC
Review Update 19/8/22

The supermarket has not changed since my last visit.

Green vegetables are slowly back onto the shelves now.

Today I notice it sells some plastic container, melamine bowls and chest of small plywood drawers probably for spices.

Visit update 20/6/2021

I am neither living in the past, nor tech-savvy, or I still feel better to use the check out counters staffed by humans. Coles is spending lots of money in upgrading their automation in warehousing and self check-out.

Since Covid, I am more hesitant about queuing in shops or supermarkets. Today, I use the self-check out the first time in this store rather reluctantly because I do not want to hang around for too long.

It is fairly convenient to shop here, especially in the evening because it is close to home.

It has cut down the deli and fresh seafood section because the foot traffic in the shopping centre is not huge. The riast chucjen us at one end if tbe SA e section.

Somehow, the vertical freezer section at the far end of the supermarmet does not seem to be well organised.

Aisle overhead labelling us reasonably visible and clear, and tbe aisles are wide for wheelechair traffic.

I have never used the self-checkout facility, because I still feel bad to encourage displacement of human labour.

It is to darned cold in this store. I only go here if I have to and go thru as quickly as possible. In terms of the store temperature, not much has changed. Apart from that, it is an ok place to visit.

This store continues to provide a good selection of fresh produce, unlike their competitors Woolworths @ the Wheelers Hill shopping centre. Coles have also rolled out a customer friendly self checkout system recently and this is more like the manned checkouts. Woolworths continues to be backward in this area. Go Coles!

**B. S** service! Can't even replace a 15cent plastic bag that I paid for, but it ripped because of metal sticking out at their self service bagging area at one of the registers. I politely asked the girl (staff) hovering behind me if I could replace the ripped bag, and explained what happened, she just shrugged her shoulders and told me that I have to pay for another bag even though the bag ripping was not my fault! They are so petty over a 15c plastic bag. I can't believe it! Staff are clueless and inconsiderate.

Shopped there the other day. Aweful customer service. No manner from the staff and treat customers with no respect. Don’t go there. Go somewhere else.

Not sure why there’s so many self serve checkouts when the demographic is mainly older people who cannot use these checkouts. How are older people supposed to scan, pack, lift and pay for the groceries by themselves? The staff are lovely and only doing their job by encouraging the use of these new checkouts. The choice is wait ages in line with a full shopping trolley or do it all yourself. Very hard for people with injuries, the disabled and elderly. Used to be a great little Coles.waited for ages in line today (with a hamstring injury) and then decided to use the self serve checkout for bigger shopping. Took me ages and won’t be going here for my shopping again.

If you are looking to buy bread after 10 pm, better to go to a different store as there is always no bread at all on my last 4 visits after 10 pm.

The Manager missing like MH370 flight … should report to head office very soon. All staffs can’t even handle the refund problem

Unsatisfactory! Their website said they had Rapid Antigen Tests in stock but it was not true. They had run out yesterday. Wasted trip.

Milk often on old side (short expiration date) compared to other chains. Seems to be run by employees on power trip, making up own rules on what you can buy during COVID lockdown. Not good shopping experience.
