Coles Ballarat (Victoria St) reviews
50Disgusting customer service, elderly people with trolleys waiting in line for over 5 minutes as not enough registers open. You would think with the prices they charge they would have more staff!
Gateway Warrnambool has DISGUSTING “ Managers” who tell their customers to F-Off.this so called manager, Sarah was fired for abusing my fiancé. She suffers chronic pain, she went in to ask for a refund but instead was abused by Sarah, was told where to go so my Girl refused. She suffers chronic debilitating pain and had arthritis is every joint of her body, customer service told her to attend the store with the goods for refund. She was refused and now due to Sarah being sacked had my girl charged! Disgusting rude employees, employees unable to de-escalate a simple situation, untrained staff. Rotten! 5 staff members onto my girl! Repulsive maggots. NEVER will shop at Coles, NEVER!
Don’t judge a book by its cover! This Coles is well stocked and well staffed. What’s more, the locals occupying the benches out front made us feel like the talk of the town.
Navigating my way to this establishment is the most stressful thing that has ever befallen me.ive watched many of my loved ones succumb to the torture that is The Bakery Hill Coles Car Park.shame on you.lovely staff mostly but some of you can be a bit hover-y and you need to be more mindful of where you stand and walk in the self service area.
Awesome service every isle is labeled but the staff are only too happy to help you find what you're after.
Shelves are well stocked. Wide variety of foods and other items. Store is clean and warm. F&V was good quality, fresh and reasonably priced. Efficient checkout operators and no long lines.
The amount of items I had to buy today covered in plastic in the Fresh Food area was disgraceful. I hear the supermarkets are now going to start charging for reusable bags. Just another charge on the consumer. Poor. Woolworths is no better. We need more fresh food grocers like the Melbourne markets so we don't need to shop in your stores
I really loathe that this is the nearest supermarket to my house, being in Brown Hill. Always low in stock on the shelves, the "fresh" fruit and vegetables are always very poor quality and start moulding and wiltering within a day of purchasing. Also there are little sparrows that live in the rafters and come down to feast and defecate upon them. I mentioned this quietly to a cashier who said there is not much they can do about it. There's barely any staff on the registers, maybe 2 registers will be open during busier periods with self serve and an express as an option. It makes even a quick trip for one or 2 purchases drag out by half an hour when I only live 5 minutes away. I really hate shopping here, so much so I procrastinate all day to avoid going there, only venturing out when it's going to be quiet enough that I can get in and out without the hassle. I travel across to stock land to do the big weekly shop now.
To all the wonderful people at the store a big thank you for great customer service from Helen and the girls in the deli to the front line guys at the check out great job guys
This coles was excellent, easily set out, clean, covid regulations in place no queue to wait in and friendly staff
Found everything I need, the staff were friendly as well, and very helpful in an inquiry i asked about
2 women blocking the self-check out exit. I ask them to move and I get told 'i'm not stopping you'. I knew Coles was a bad idea. Avoid Bakery Hill 3350
I prefer it to Woolworths more intuitively laid out, but they did stop selling the passionfruit yoghurt. The new Woolies stores look a bit nicer than some of the Coles stores, but their new ones are good too.
They need to come a long way with reducing plastic packaging.
The staff are always very helpful & friendly. This morning, l needed a Coles Myer Gift Card, and Tracey, a checkout operator, was pleased to assist me to find the right one.
Very good, clean & easy to find things. Very helpful staff. As I was going into the store, today, I tried to pulled a trolley wipe out of the dispenser. Unfortunately the whole roll came tumbling down. So I headed for first assistant I could see. Was a very nice young man stacking veg. Immediately he stopped what he was doing, thanked me & said he would fix it. Great service with a smile indeed. Well done Coles Bakery Hill.
This is the best supermarket in Ballarat. Good range, but it could be better. Could manage stock a bit better as sometimes shelves are not packed. Staff are nice and very efficient.
Yay, Coles will be shut for three months while they rebuild. Can't wait for the new state of the art Coles (don't know when). This little super market has served Sebastapol and surrounding suburbs for a heck of a long time. As more homes have gone up, demand for bigger spaces is the answer. Some of the staff have been here for ages, they have a good relationship with the regulars. Not much parking now while building goes on, but can't wait for the new car park
They had exactly what I needed plus were having a quiet period store wide. They should have this full time.
Since I live in Geelong Victoria Australia I went to the Geelong Coles in the Westfield shopping centre and great service and great staff
Terrible customer service. How can you social distance when there's one register open at peak times?
