Coles Ballarat (Peel St)

The taxi rank on a long summer afternoon is always entertaining if you're on a budget but still want to see a show.

Good staff, too bad it's not safe. So much violence going on out front. Not fair to the staff or customers Coles. You need a security guard. I won't go there after the things I've seen.

The new self checkouts are rather remarkable! They have a conveyer belt and everything! The staff are great, the produce is amazing compared to other Coles's across the region as well as the competition.

Not much to say its like all other supermarkets, the staff are friendly and helpful, the prices are all about the same as others.

Terrible customer service!
Placed order for click & collect, girl couldn’t find my order upon collection. Advised to see manager, Thomas was his name as far I remember. He literally had no sense how to deal with customer. When i explained the issue, he told to look into this and will be back in two minutes. Waited for 45 minutes still never came back.
If you can’t find the order atleast acknowledge instead of just vanishing. I don’t understand how he get the job.

Wow! Nearly $5 for a lettuce
Talk about supermarket robbery.
Then
Ripped off buying Hair color, didn't realize till I got home and looked at the receipt, they were $12.50 But charged $17.00.
Coles are getting very greedy, time to find another supermarket.

Trolley man was mean and screamed at me once for accidentally using the wrong entrance but im sure his career was not long lived. Nice coles though: D

Pleasant place to shop, easy to find everything I needed to get.
Staff were all polite and helpful at the new self serve counters.

The one close to home, I know where most things I need are, and I use the self serve check out so I don't miss my bus. Good times and healthy meals made at home. Thanks Coles.

I would like to say a big thank you to the girls in Click and collect, beyond The Call of duty and they were so sweet about it I'm so so grateful.
It really is a blessing when somebody is nice about my change of time to collect. Well Done. I am Sorry I didn't get her.

There has been a puddle of vomit outside this store for 3 says. No one has bothered to clean it up. You can't overlook it. Gross.

Great place! Love the thriving homeless community that use the seats out the front and surrounding area as a kind of communal hub. To discuss issues, share story’s, pan handle and make Ballarat a brighter safer place to call home!

Always a pleasure to shop at Coles, they have everything you need! Definitely the best in Ballarat with amazing florist quality flowers!

The Coles itself is good. Staff are friendly and there is a good range of items especially in the deli and butcher section.
Unfortunately the crackheads that are constantly floating around out the front asking for change and shouting at no-one in particular make it so that I'll only go here if I really have to.
Also the carpark is pretty tight but it's never hard to find a park close to the doors.

I had a beautiful young woman who actually put my groceries in the trolley for me.
Normally I would take notice of her name but I was not feeling the best but she was very friendly and helpful.

This is my place for shopping. I have brought Lite N Easy since COVID and our freedom taken from us from tyrant governments but I talk to most of the customer service providers and they love to be treated like humans, just like we all do. Besides the odd junkie or lady with her chicken lol it is mostly a pleasant experience.

Thank you Annette for helping me yesterday when inquiring about a missing bag of groceries that I had left behind. I returned to the store the following day just on the off chance someone may have handed them in I approached Annette. The courtesy that I received was 5 star.
The last 2 years have been very trying and staff in most cases have been pushed to a limit.

Excellent supermarket a massive selection of products in all foods and drinks ect very friendly staff

Big Coles. Not my usual Coles so it took extra time to find what I wanted as it's one of the bigger Coles I have been to. But that was fine as I had some time to burn

As expected, another clean and tidy store. Easy to shop and easy to checkout with a live cashier.
