Coles Bacchus Marsh reviews
62 Big store - 15 aisles.
Typical supermarket = the milk is as far from the checkouts as you can get. Lol
10 self-checkouts.
Liquor next door.
Good choice of fresh vegetables, Staff are friendly and helpful. Locked down prices are good. Fruit and Vegetable price has been lowered
My supermarket of choice in Bacchus Marsh. Clean tidy shop with cheerful helpful staff. Sticks are back up again after a pretty lean time through covid
Rip off store! And word of warning PLEASE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS! Many times items are scanned way more than the ticket! Store messy, fridge items still in the same place as day before where they are not supposed to be!
Good choice of fresh vegetables, Staff are friendly and helpful. Locked down prices are good.
Emily, with the beautiful blue hair, from the meat department is SOO helpful! So much so, I have been inspired to leave a review. If Coles have an employee of the month, Emily deserves it!
On Thursday the 6th of April I decided to access one of the local Coles located in Bacchus Marsh to do some last-minute shopping before the Easter Break. While doing the shopping, I decided to pass through the Deli to order some salmon. Before the attendant could attend to me, I had a wait for some time whilst she engaged in some personal conversations with what appeared to be family members for some time. I didn’t particularly mind as I thought we are all human and occasionally we run into people we know and there’s no harm engaging in a word or two with them. However, it is also quite courteous to apologise for the time I had to wait whilst waiting for her to wrap up her conversation with her family.
Afterwards, I asked for a kilo of salmon. The attendant did not provide me with an opportunity to tell her what specific parts of the salmon that I was after before placing it in a bag. I was not impressed by this as one should afford people the opportunity to explain what exactly they want. She went on to pack the meat, at this point I noticed that I was being given the smallest portions of this salmon before asking the lady if I could swap two of the portions for big ones. She got annoyed and started rolling her eyes as she served me. This made me feel uncomfortable as I believe everyone is entitled to clearly express what they want. Especially considering the cost of salmon. Why pay so much if you are not going to get the value of your money. The rolling for eyes as she asked me to show her the pieces of salmon I was after. With the last piece she said with a condescending tone that, that part of salmon was called the tale. Which I thought was unnecessary as one could not identify those parts given how they were cut up.
We have been showing in this Coles and we have not experienced anything of this nature before. However, I feel that there is need for the customer service attendant in question to be spoken to, as such treatment is unpleasant and lacks professionalism.
I have lodged a formal complaint to prevent that staff member from exhibiting similar behaviours to other people in the future. I am awaiting to hear back from them
Wasn't there on the date suggested stay away mostly from Coles not very good service at the moment
Nice shop, good layout, ample product options. Only reason ive rated 4/5 stars is because every single time I check out via self serve I see that I'm being heavily watched & it makes me feel quite uncomfortable. Otherwise, fine place:)
Isles to messy with rermpty boxes etc. Fruit and veggies don't seem as fresh as they could be. You shouldn't be able to smell rotten produce
Omg, this coles has self-serve MOCHI! My partner surprised me with like, 6 different flavours (black sesame is to die for!) And there are so many other flavours available.
I hope this is a thing coming to all coles, or is it already in coles supermarkets? ! I sure hope so, this is the coolest thing ever
Also self serve macarons too, if that's your thing.
Good sized store. Clean, tidy and reasonably well stocked. Friendly service. No issues to fault.
Great new Coles. Wide aisles, plenty of parking, good stocks of most things in all departments. One of the largest Coles in Ballarat.
I struggle to find the items I need from Coles, they sell out very fast, I’ve only been here a short time & I’ve never had this problem with any other supermarket, very disappointed.
Once again I'm reminded Bacchus Marsh is not at the standard of metro stores, the roast pork (deli - cooked / hot) crackling like leather.definitely NOT crackling, then to find most of the check- outs have become self serve, if only Aldi did roast pork or Bacchus Marsh had a Woolworths
Imagine being such a wetwipe and complaining to the service desk like Jean Poor did. Anyways 5 stars for the very good looking (and sexy if i might add) trolley lads, they got dem dumpy's
First time I ordered from here for home delivery, my delicate items were packed under heavy ones.
Second time I ordered, (second chance) they put a hold on the $$$ from my bank (to be expected) but then then tried to deduct the full amount of my shop (in ADDITION to funds already held by them) the night before delivery.after one attempt they cancelled my order, sent me a text saying to "call the merchant" without providing any contact numbers. If they had of attempted to charge "multiple times" as I was advised they "Normally do" by customer service, I could have rectified this issue easily.
Moral of this story, they won't pack it with the care you do and if you do order, ensure you have DOUBLE and a bit more $$ available in your account. For my inconvenience they did NOT offer any discount or incentive for wasting my time (placing order and on phone to customer service).
Disappointing to be honest. I will not attempt to use this store nor the app to order again. I did not replace my order.instead I'm headed to Aldi.
One positive - Arthur from customer service was lovely to deal with - otherwise it would have been a 1 star review.
Avoid going towards later in the evening. Trying to navigate around the stock all through the isles stacked on trolleys to be put on shelves for restocking is a mission. Not to mention the young staff doing the stocking, need to watch what they talk about amongst themselves as their language and choice of conversations while families are shopping, can be very inappropriate!
NICE NOT TO BIG NOT TOO SMALL. FILLET STEAK. NOT MY WAY I TAKED LONG TO OPEN THAN TO COOK. NOT BLOO AT ALL. FRESHER ID 100TIMES BETTER. LOCAL BUTCHER NEXT TIME.
Wasn't to bad today, bit more stock on the shelves, BUT! They still have very limited wet cat food, it's been like that for many months now so annoying having to go to Melton just to get cat food.
