Coles reviews
26Small supermarket, more like a convenience store, not a lot to choose from, it doesn't have a deli. Often only self service is open and if you want to be served they will call someone over store speaker, has happened to me a few times, can be annoying. I've always been against self serve, due to the obvious, we are getting computers to serve ppl.
Just bought a 4 pack cheese bacon rolls I have never had bread so dripping wet and soggy like a sponge eeeeewwwweeee
Yeah this coles in the heart of Belmont, Even when it was a Bi-Lo it was pretty boss.hot tip the choccy moose is off its head.
Excellent in-store presentation.
Restricted by the Parking facilities.
Maybe needs line marking work to be done by Geelong council?
Closest alternative would be in the Kmart complex down the hill towards Barwon River.
Came to the store dressed down on an unexpected trip for dog food. Noticed dog wormer on clearance for $3 and happily picked up. At the counter it scanned as $18 which I questioned, met by an unfriendly scowl. After a few minutes of serving others the cashier gave up and had a look with me. Turned out I had picked up the exact same wormer but for medium dogs instead of small which was $15 more. After making my purchase I didn’t even get a “would you like your receipt” or “goodbye”. As a manager myself of a store, I’m disgusted at this customer service, I left feeling like a burden for what was supposed to be a quick run of the mill shop. I wouldn’t usually leave a review but this experience was upsetting
This Coles has gone down hill, i can say two or three staff members left are wonderful, the other good ones left, but the young darker lady is horrible to deal with, how she still has a job is beyond me.
I asked for direct to boot and phoned the number on the wall twice to say I had arrived still waited 10 mins after arrival then had to go into the store.to find out where my order was? Waited another 5mins.the lady came down and said sorry I didn't answer the phone cos I was busy picking! So it would've been quicker for me to just go and do my own shopping. I'm trying to avoid crowds and do the right thing only to have to QR code into Coles and wait for my order to come to me. I received my txt at 2pm to say order was ready so don't understand why it took another 20mins to get my groceries!
Great staff, great location but limited lines. Yes it's a smaller Coles but since they moved everything around and removed the deli a couple of months ago, it is very hit and miss on what you can get, whether it's been culled or simply out of stock.
Love the new improvements to the store. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.
Well done Coles.
The deli has disappeared. I don't want to have to take packaged deli goods. I need to be able to buy the amount I need. Imagine all the extra plastic. Bad move Coles. Will shop where ever I can find a deli. Probably Woolworths in Highton.
Its just a super market
What else needs to be said?
Other than i would rather be somewhere else!
The place is located nearby to High-street belmont and is accessible easily by public transport or private car. Parking is great as have lot of parking and besides that the place nearby has very good restaurants and other locations as well. The Coles in high Street is spacious and staffs are great and helpful. Opening times are fairly reasonable and great.
Very convenient supermarket that isn't huge but has most of the things I need. My one complaint is that they don't stock the Coles brand bread that the Coles down the street does, which I need to buy because of soy allergies in kids.
I love this friendly little store, i prefer this store than the bigger ones.great infection control practices, cheery staff, thanks coles
They are a smaller shop so they do not have a large selection was not able to get all my shopping here the staff are friendly here
I couldn't believe how dirty the front of store is. Litter everywhere. Trolleys out the front of store surrounded by litter. Car park with rubbish strewn everywhere. So depressing.
Smaller shop with limited options. Good for the basics and a lot quiter than a large shop. Good parking
Some assistants need to learn how to pack bags and not put soft and breakables under heavy items and cans
Great service. Girl was extremely helpful (and pretty) so all in all am very happy and would definitely return in the future.
The bananas today were terrible quality and the strawberries weren't much better. Young lady at the self service area was excellent. I think her name was Safra.
