Cold Rock Lilydale

Extremely rude "Karen" esk owner. I went in with my two children as we thought a cool icecream would be good on warm day.
I had my small dog with us as we had been out for a walk- the owner then proceeded to give me grief about the fact I had a dog in the store, at my feet- I explained I just wanted to order, pay and we would leave.
Unfortunately Karen could not let this go and continued to give me grief. There are no signs saying I can't bring a dog In? However I am aware it is frowned upon bringing a dog into a food establishment to dine in, given I was just picking something up, I though common sense would prevail- Unfortunately this was not the case.

Never again Karen. Hope you learn some common sense.

Very very very poor service ordered through Menulog, quantity of food given is pathetic barely a scoop of icecream and we paid $30
For two sundae’s! Called the store to make them aware very uninterested staff over the phone, their response “that’s how we do it here”. Do not use this store, don’t get ripped off, We will not be using them again, if you want a real cold rock make the trip to wantirna and give Lilydale an absolute miss.

Perfectly run business, always clean and tidy, and the owner is super friendly, great staff and service. Highly recommended,

It was the Thursday coming out of lockdown.

The girls working were standing around talking not even acknowledging our presence. We went up to the ice-cream bench seeing if they would communicate with us but they didn't?

I understand we had just come out of lockdown but the store was practically empty, it would have taken 5-10 mins of their shift serving a customer, which is technically their job.

Will come back for the yummy ice-cream only!

We order Cold Rock a lot and service is usually impeccable, however this time we ordered through uber eats and there was no option to not add mix in's. I don't usually get mix in's with a banana split so this was a pain within itself. Chose (and paid for) a mix in so that we could place the order and added in the notes to leave the chocolate chosen whole and not crush into the ice cream. Instead they just didn't add the mix in that we had paid for. My partner also ordered whipped cream with his sundae and did not receive this. Very disappointing service to pay for things and not receive them.

The staff at Cold Rock are always friendly.welcoming and patient. They provide excellent service and they ice-cream is always delicious. Thanks to Cold Rock for being apart of the Lilydale community!

Went in to cold rock today, they have great ice cream at this place but unfortunately the staff are not very efficient serving there customers, I went in with a slow family In front and there was still 2 spare staff members available to serve me and still ignored me, not waiting 15 minutes for a little ice cream.

Definatly worth the money, happy to help out our local small businesses especially 1 as deserving as this 1.beautifull people, beautifull ice cream.

Turkish delight thickshake is pretty darn good. Staff are always pretty friendly and generally fast

Their ice creams and cakes are good, however they are expensive. It’s a small shop so it can get busy, but usually there’s not too many people in there. The staff are almost always friendly and patient.

Great service, except on multiple occasions they've opened their doors later than advertised which isn't cool.

Warm night with the Lilydale show on, and they opened late. Expensive, but worth it for the look on my nephew's face.

Ice cream was pretty good, the mix ins are even more expensive here now and I can't confirm its across all stores. They definitely need their A/C sorted out too.

Very helpful when online order didn't work, was happy to put me ahead of others to sort out my order

Very disappointed tonight. Got a aussie vanilla large take away with 3 add ins. Costed about $24 and basically just got vanilla ice cream because the lady miss judged how much to put in the container. So my ice cream was half a tub of just vanilla ice cream. Very very disappointed for how much I paid.
