Colac Cinemas reviews
17Didn't go there. Believe it is quite popular. Went to the Colac History Centre nearby. A wonderful resource if you are researching Colac and District families. Volunteers are there Monday and Tuesday and Thursday and Friday afternoons.
Very nice manager and staff very polite and helpful and helpful wouldn't hesitate to go back again.
The junior staff do their best under pressure and that is commendable. It is a pity that management are so poor at responding to communication via email for general enquiries. Don't expect anything more than what you get.
I love Colac Cinemas. Although, the quality of the experience has diminished relatively recently.
The staff are less friendly and helpful and on Mother's Day the place absolutely stank like burnt popcorn. Also, the movie was turned up way too loud. Even my teenaged nephew had to cover his ears (and we all know how teenagers like it LOUD).
The great thing about this place is that it sometimes shows movies that are not the usual Hollywood pap. It has really comfortable seating and is rarely crowded.
This is a great cinema conveniently located with dedicated staff, highly recommended thanks Colac Cinemas!
Not very good. Was first told that the movie I wanted to see with my grandchildren was booked out. I asked when was the next screening and told Monday at 11.15am my grandchildren would be at school so that didn't help. Asked if it would be on next weekend they didn't know. Also neither girls were wearing masks or following Covid guidelines. There was no signage to say that it was booked out
Visiting the local cinema is always a treat. The cinema is always clean & warm & the staff do a great job. Cannot wait for it to reopen. I don't care what movie is showing - I'll be there!
It was Covid appointment time and I was waiting for my friend. Colac Cinemas is a beautiful set up. When we are allowed to go out as we know it, we will be able to go and see Morning Melodies and enjoy the the COPAC and Cinemas again.
While we sometimes miss the sort of show we saw at the Nova, the Colac experience is hard to beat. No crowd for our chosen shows, comfy seats & our beloved Pauline who seems to do just everything, looking after us. On top of all that, it’s inexpensive. Well worth the hour’s drive!
Had a fantastic time enjoying a movie with my daughter and grandson. The only thing that was annoying was when a particular parent was more interested in her phone than controlling her 2 boys, they were very disruptive, running around, banging on back of our seats with made it hard 4 us to enjoy the movie.
Saw Archie Roach live tonight, if you ever get a chance to see him perform DO IT! Even go out of your way, it'll definitely be worth it
Nice place to go and see a moive. A little over priced for what you are getting for your money. But is still a great place to see a moive.
Cheery service, great seats, good movie and I love the smell of fresh popcorn. Very clean considering we saw ehat people have the cheek to leave behind.
Not a very good place mostly old people movies for the elders nothing for teens or no really good movies get release so u have to travel a 1hr or more to watch what u want
Great rural performing arts and movies complex - kiosk prices for many confectionaries are too high though.
Saw Avengers endgame there recently. Pretty good for a small country cinema I must say. They have two cinema halls. Seats are comfy enough and the sound system was decent. Screen viewing was great from where I was sitting and they have a decent enough snack bar too.
As a small country cinema viewing choices are always going to be limited but staff are always friendly and efficient and generally pretty knowledgeable and cinemas are always tidy. Frustratingly no seat in larger cinema directly faces the screen (there is a slight angle) which I personally find a little disconcerting
