Colac Central Hotel-Motel

Great room which smelled nice on first entry. Clean and comfortable. Very quiet considering the central location. Only downer was that the shower was barely better than cold in the morning. Would stay there again.

All great. The Hotel manager was friendly and helpful. The room smelt nice when I walked in. Everything was as it should be, and an added bonus was the electric blanket. It was a great stay.

Sorry the curtains didn't close the hook at the top was not on. I did tell the cleaning lady, all was good I put a chair to hold them closed.

Great place to stay, right in the center of town, prices are good too. Staff are realy friendly & like a chat.

We were well taken care of and the owners are very nice people.
The location is great, walking distance to everything.
It's the second time we have stayed and we will definitely be coming back.

The room filled with the cleaning chemicals smell. We had to keep the windows open in order to breathe… shower room not very clean. Needs a bit of thorough cleaning.

Exceptionally clean, very welcoming hosts shoutout to (Wilson & Claire) need more stars:) family friendly which is hard to find when travelling. Have their own bistro/ bar great parking facilities & low noise being off the main street surprised me. The information they provide for you to explore the area is above what I expected.

We were in Colac for a wedding so just needed a room for the night. Early check in was easy to arrange, check in was easy too. The room was clean and everything we needed. Loved the makeup face washer! ~

Very accommodating towards our employee's that worked log hours and amazing communication. Would highly recommend for any business stays.

Great location for lake Colac and supermarkets and restaurants.
Easy to check-in and check-out the hotel.
Nice bed and lots of streaming on TV

I rate 2 stars because the Sudanese guy/manager was rude to me but once I got him to understand my booking then and only then he changed his attitude towards me and checked me 30 min early thanking him for that then got woken up at 12am by drunk women's and bunch of blokes voces until 2am then finally peace and went back to sleep probably won't stay again unless it was the only one left with a room in all of colac. Just a few things the owner could do to make it better place.

Very clean with a large room and comfortable bed (s). Pub across the driveway and the food was very good - I was pleasantly surprised

Was in town for a conference and stayed at the central motel. The room was spacious, modern and clean. Would recommend giving this place a visit if you're in the area

Clean room, friendly staff. Comfortable bed, that's the main thing. We stayed 4 nights.
The only thing was, we had trouble raising someone at reception when we arrived. Had to go into the pub. (which was no problem really).

Overpriced for what you get.will use other motels in Colac that offer better value for money, some of which we have used before, but we thought we would try this one. Noisy outside, with other guests keeping us awake until midnight.not recommended

Lovely clean room, comfy bed and nice position in the main street. Close to the shops etc. Only downfall was getting the door open!

Wash u have to wash in bathroom rooms bathroom very smelly kettle u need to put on bedside table u ask staff questions their answer is not sure bistro when u walk in very smelly only good thing is close shops in the pic showing outside chairs like garden is not there not recommended at all waste of money most important thing is that no Flyscreen u can open window flys coming in and plus when u put air con heater making too much noise

Love the refurbished rooms (long time since I've been back) including good size TV. Lovely staff. Great price. Great location. Look forward to our return for another visit to beautiful Colac and Barongarook. Thank you to all staff for a lovely stay.

This visit was for an organised function. Staff were very efficient, polite and run off their feet (short staffed). They did a great job. The meal was a set menu - beef and chicken. Good meal for a pub meal.

This is a small unpretentious local motel. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The staff are very friendly & welcoming.

There is a small restaurant. I had the steak, chips & salad - it was the best I have had for a long time. The steak was cooked to perfection, the chips were just right and the salad was fresh.

Highly recommended.
