Coco’s Early Learning Centre / Guardian Childcare & Education Oakleigh East

It was really good when my elder one started at around 2017, and gradually turns worse and worse, I am glad that my kids graduated and never go back again, I can still remember one of the Indian educator did the terrible thing to my son, and push all the responsibility to others, which made me feel sick and feel so sorry about any kids around her!

The staff at Guardian Childcare & Education Oakleigh East are absolutely amazing. Our daughters love attending the center as they feel safe, supported and loved. We couldn't have asked for a better setting for our children to be in. The educators have become part of our family too. I have no worries leaving my little one in the nursery as I know and trust she is getting the care and love from everyone there as if she were being looked after by a family member. Highly recommended!

Wouldn’t recommend. Most of the trainers/teachers are actually fine but clearly being overworked/underpaid. Front staff/centre mgmt and overall organisation clearly only care about revenue and profit and whether the kids are looked after well or not are a hit and miss. There were many occasions where the quality of care was way below the standards required such as the kids having dirty nappies for hours on a hot day or physically hurting themselves, had to take them off so they can be safe and taken care of elsewhere. Not even mentioning the money grabbing tactics and behaviour during lockdown periods as others already highlighted it. Avoid!

Terrible management, my 4 year old son’s finger is badly cut by scissor in Coco’ Oakleigh, they just call my wife and require her to sign on the NON- SERIOUS FROM and then ask my wife to send the kid to emergency, meanwhile, my wife request the center to call the ambulance, but refused, as result of 2 suture needle done on my son’s finger. The do organise a meeting with the area manager, however, what ever you ask she just read her prepared answers from the handbook, or “need to investigate “, just feeling like talking with a robot. They just want to get away of their responsibilities. So disappointed.

My feedback is solely for the admin team and how they have handled the child care payments with subsidies last year during the lockdown. My daughter enjoyed the care but I have literally overpaid for the services which we haven't availed.

Over the past five years， I have both my two children enrolled in Guardian early learning centre. We had been through all the rooms from nursery to kinder 2. Currently my younger one is in kinder one room. I have noticed that she has become more and more belonged in the room and eager to explore different things. The highly educated teacher in the room is extremely professional for and responsive to my daughter and my families. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for kinder programs currently to have a chat with the centre and teacher.

My daughter is in toddler 2 and she loves Sumitra and the Asian lady in the room, they are so nice and kind to the kids, I can fell they truly love kids. My son is in Anies room, she is a responsible teacher, and she communicate with me every time I meet her about my son' s behavior and performance at cc, I highly recommend this child care

Definitely one of the best childcare centres in this neighbourhood! Both my sons have grown and learnt a lot since the day they join the Centre. Well done to all educators. Keep up the good work!

All the teacher are really professional and responsive. Management is so good and straight forward. My daughter really enjoy here and we are really happy with childcare

During the orientation process, i found that the information provided to me of what would occur on the day was very vague. Upon reflection, i think it's due to the childcare service being led by your routine for your child. The good thing was we could go as many times to orientation as we saw fit. I'd prolly put some magazines out or encourage parents to bring a book as we have to stay in the waiting room while the child is in the classroom.

I found that the educators were very friendly and happy to answer your questions. As a first time mum, the educators have definitely helped ease my anxieties about returning to work especially after having stayed at home with bubs for his first year and pretty much doing it on our own.

My husband and i love the app used to tell us what they do at childcare and we cant get enough on seeing how much our boy has flourished in many ways since being at care. We have been blessed to have a good team in our lil boy's nursery.

I have nothing but praise for the team at Guardian Oakleigh East. From the day my daughter started here (a little over a year ago) they have been absolutely wonderful. I have seen my daughter grow and flourish here. She adores the whole team and looks forward to her daycare days. She has recently moved into the pre kinder room and just adores her new educators.
Every single team member I have encountered has gone above and beyond to work with me to find solutions, no matter the problem. They are caring, empathetic and nurturing and have been a wonderful support to my daughter and I during the last year. It is so much easier to leave her when I know how much she loves daycare and she is so well cared for.

It has been the best experience for my child. Ive seen incredible growth in him guided by the fantastic and highly experienced and friendly staff.
Highly recommend for both babies and toddlers.

Have had my son enrolled in the nursery since January this year. The staff has been nothing but supportive at all times. My child has thrived in this environment. As am essential worker during a pandemic the facility has been excellent. Highly recommended!

Really happy with the support, communication and feedback that is provided at Cocos (Guardian). All questions are answered in a timely manner. Most importantly my child is happy here and has been since day 1 in the nursery.

My two boys love going to daycare here! The educators are great and both boys are engaged in the program, coming home full of information to share with us. Would recommend the service to anyone!

The environment is clean and the rooms looks nice. However, the structure of the equipment, especially outdoor was issue.my child hit head to the mental gutter twice and resulted stitches on his face as the equipment was placed too close to the the gutter. During the kids party, a parent informed that her child' mouth internal tissues were split due to a stick out nail on the equipment at cocos and the child ended up to ED. I observed one teacher grabbed a child's arm and lifted the child out of the equipment. I reported it to the service.not sure about the follow-up. Some teachers are caring and responsible. However, my child's room team leaders were changed multiple times due to the staffs' leave. It really depends on the room leader. I would not suggest Kinder from my child experience.however, it may change depending on the quality of the teachers again.

Fantastic childcare centre! My daughter has been there for over 2 years and loves it. From the very beginning they supported me and my daughters journey. She comes home each day with lots of stories and new learning. They have very friendly, professional staff who truly care for the children. I would strongly recommend this centre for your children.

Coco's Caulfield has been the best start on my baby's life, Michelle and the educators are really caring.
We love the time spent there and recommend the centre to all the parents looking for a place to grow with their children.

Staff are friendly, and the facilities are clean and vibrant. My son loves going there as there is always something new to explore
