Cocobei Docklands

When charging $23 for a dish, I expect a proper portion, not these half-sized portions that would only feed a bird. And if it says that corn is included, why is the corn only used as a garnish. This dish is an overpriced, unfunny joke.

Not only that but the whole thing was so dry, and lacked flavour and seas9ning. Even a little bit of sauce would have done this dish better

The staff were also inattentive and didn't bother to check in on us, take or order or even provide water for a good 15 minutes.

Brunch at @cocobei_docklands from a while back: delicious Asian inspired flavours and dishes! Very creative.

Drinks: the hot chocolate was good, but the matcha latte was only okay - wish the matcha taste was stronger.

This place was hit n miss for us unfortunately. One day the coffee was great, service was quick and the food was delicious. The next day, coffee was below average, service was good forever and the food was borderline bad. Your mileage may vary.

This place is amazing! Delicious food, great coffee, amazing staff…I recommend everything!

Super bad service, food was ok
1. The waiter didn’t explain clearly at all: If you want to sit outside, you have to order and pay first.
Let me sit outside and wait

2. As soon as I arrived at the store, I made it clear that I wanted to sit inside.
But there were no seats inside, so the waiter asked me if I wanted to sit outside, and I agreed.
Here's the key point. He had no intention of bringing me a menu or a water glass, and he didn't even clean the table for me.
I just sat outside and blew in the air.

3. Because I really didn’t understand why no one came to serve me, so I walked in
Then expressed why no one came to give me menu and water
The response I got was also very irritating.
In short:
I really can't describe the attitude of that waiter in words.
Unfriendly and unprofessional

4. But it’s nice to have a girl with twin tails. Thumbs up

(If I hadn’t gone in and asked myself, I really wouldn’t have known what time I would be seated.)
I was served by a white waiter and an Asian girl.
So disappointed. I feel like I don’t know how to entertain people.

Nice enough place, Sauteed mushroom portion was a little small for the price. Didn't feel it justified the money spent.

Friendly service, scrumptious food with an excellent twist of the simplest dishes. Highly recommended!

Service was great but your kitchen team really let you down.

My meal was missing several items, FOH checked with kitchen who then informed them that they had run out of those items and offered to substitute it for something else.

After agreeing to be provided with something else, the tables next to us received the same dish but it contained my originally missing item! And the table behind us received the same dish with the substitute.

We finished our meals and still didnt receive our substitute item!

The service is delightful and the dishes are served speedily and tasty. I had the seafood pasta. Creamy tomato sauce…superb!

Beautiful design and nice food, big enough environment for family and friends, I would like to come back again

The food was very delicious, and the drinks as well. Both the food and the drinks were decorated beautifully. It was a very smart idea to have the menus on little QR codes on the table number sign and gives you the option to pay online on your phone or pay at the counter (good to use little to zero paper to help the environment). The only area that could’ve been better was friendliness and paying attention to customers of the staff. And, the decorations of the cafe could be a bit more better to match the beautiful foods and drinks they serve to make the experience as great top tier cafe.
Overall very good experience and taste and the potential of this cafe to get even better is very possible.

Looks like any other cafe from the outside, but once the food arrives.wow! Great flavours, fresh ingredients, good service. Meals look just as attractive as they taste.

Terrible working place. No contract, refuse to pay for meetings and trainings. Bossy manager without integrity. If you plan to work here, make sure you are ready to contact Fair Work. Sincere warning.

Very welcoming. Lovely light (but generous) lunch meals topped off with fabulous coffee. Great service and first class presentation. Gluten free options.

Congratulations to the wonderful team at Cocobei! We recently stayed in the Docklands and were recommended to go there and we were not disappointed. Our first morning they were so busy we had to wait for a table and Amber was very helpful at arranging that for us and so we booked for the week we were there every morning. Food was great but I must say a big Thank You to Alex who was such a great waiter. He was welcoming and new out coffee and tea orders and even how we liked our food.he was great, food was great. If you in the Docklands drop by and enjoy the great service and food

Visited this place twice. There are to many employees without experience.

The first time ordered long black coffee. I was the only customer that time and I had to wait about 10 min. The coffee was really bad.

The second time I ordered lunch for my son and I. We kindly waited for dishes. Manager approached us and said she intended to sit other people at our table. O_O She thought we sat there for fun, LOL.no words. The lunch was 3/5. Carbonara looked nice, but there were too much oil in sauce.

I’m a neighbor, I live just next door so I’ve been here more than 10X and absolutely NEVER regretted! Just order the carbonara pls ️ or the Devil Eggs.

Open again after covid. Far and away the best cafe in Docklands. Great space with big windows, plus fantastic coffee and food. Lovely staff.

The coffee was ok, but the kitchen was terrible. We had to wait an hour for the food but they made the wrong food when the shop was not too busy.

I moved to Docklands for almost 5mths and finally have nice coffee and great food which just 2mins away! Service is excellent too!
