Visited this cafe around 1: 55 for a coffee. Unfortunately, the staff was quite rude from the start. They didn't even ask if we wanted to have our order there or as a takeaway. Just served take away, Instead, they yelled our order and called us to pick it up. We barely had a chance to settle down when they asked us to leave, claiming they were short-staffed and closing soon. The whole experience left a lot to be desired, and the service was definitely subpar. Disappointing overall

Ordered a cake for an 18th Birthday and it was absolutely incredible. Rita recommended the mango and passionfruit sponge and it was spectacular. All of guests wanted to know where we got it from. We are not locals but I am sure many will travel. Our guests are all foodies and raved about it. Thank you so much.

After visiting Laurent Bakery receiving grumpy can’t be bothered service I decided to walk out & find another place for lunch

The hazelnut praline cake was excellent! The chocolate cake was not sweet and was topped with a generous amount of hazelnuts. My picky Dad had three slices in one sitting so that says something!

Stopped here after the doctor for coffee. Service was ok, staff were nice. Coffee was nice. I ordered petite blueberry cakes and I couldn't eat them. They were way too sweet and flavour less. The cafe is busy but had seating if you chose to sit in.

I would give 0 if I could. The service is outrageous. We have an office next door, so I order few large cakes every month for my staff for their birthday. There are always issue with this coffee shop. Today I was told I can't get the invoice as I pre-paid for the cake last week, they issued me with one eventually that does not match the amount. BIG LOL- even tho I always tell them I will need one as I pay by company card- ATO would not be happy with that response either! You guys MUST provide tax invoice upon request, that is a law and there are fines for refusing to do so! Please educate your staff. I really wanna support small businesses and buy in local stores but the people who work there make it impossible!

Everything I have bought from Cocoa has been delicious. The raspberry cheese cake is out of this world. The sponge with jam and cream celebration cake I bought tasted like love, clouds and heaven! Can't recommend highly enough, and the divine manager Ms. Rita is simply the icing on the cake ️

Upon entering the Staff member was cleaning the display cabinet and chatting with a customer waiting on a coffee.
After she finished chatting to her she continued to finish cleaning the glass cabinet. Then she walked behind the counter and started helping another staff member. About a minute after that she said, just a minute l have an order. The barrista said Hi how can l help and l explained l was there to collect an order.
She bought my order to me. I sais is the the rasberry cake and l didn't want the Cointreau in it. The other lady said, there is no alcohol in that cake, we only have 1 cake with alcohol in it. I said it's advertised with alcohol in it, she replies there is no alcohol in all of our cakes except the? I said check your website as it says it has alcohol. In the end the cake was nice but l won't return because of the snobby service.

I love the cakes here, the strawberry tarts are absolutely divine, the raspberry mousse and cheesecakes regularly appear on my dinner table when I have guests. The general staff are helpful and great to deal with. Definitely worth a try.

Keep in mind the strawberry tarts are made to order, but I promise they are worth it!

Bought a cake from there, tastes great. The ladies there was very nice and polite.

Also the team are amazing. I was not able to make an online order so I tried my luck with going there hoping ghe cakes we wanted where readily available. They were not but the lady helped me by asking the kitchen if they can mke both cakes for me for a later pick-up. I was very happy to know that they will be and I only had to pick them up that afternoon - how good was that!?

I ordered the Black Forrest cake for a 21st birthday. It was decorated beautifully and the taste was delicious, delicious, delicious!
